Yes! Great point! It may give you a bit of extra height, but you won’t get the full effect with vaulted or textured ceilings. That’s where that Yamaha or similar Sony bars can come in handy, since they use virtual processing rather than up-firing drivers—though that usually comes at the expense of sound quality.
