Preorders Are Live For Sony's New PlayStation VR Bundles

Gamers, two new PlayStation VR bundles are coming later this month.

The first bundle, available for pre-order for $300, includes the upcoming Trover Saves the Universe, from Rick and Morty’s Justin Roiland, and Five Nights at Freddy’s.

The second includes Blood and Truth and Everybody’s Golf VR, Move Motion controllers, and will cost $50 more.

Both packages include a PSVR headset and PlayStation Camera. All of the included games allow the use of a DualShock controller or Move Motion controls. And while the Trover + Freddy’s bundle excludes the motion controls, you can pick them up separately for $90-$100.

For those unfamiliar, the PSVR is Sony’s attempt at a VR headset which uses a console to power the experience.

In their review, Kotaku says that while PlayStation VR is inferior to the competition (The Vive and the Oculus Rift) in several significant ways, the system is also “less expensive and easier to use, and for all its flaws it still manages to communicate the goofy, surreal joy of modern virtual reality.”

One big problem was that the PSVR is consistently undermined by the underpowered console. The upcoming PS5 may solve that and your PSVR bundle will, luckily, be compatible.

Both bundles are available for pre-order now and will be released at the end of the month.
