The Elite Series 2 controller might just be the best controller on the market. I love the weight of it in my hands and the Xbox controller form factor in general is unmatched. Right now, you can get it for just $154. What you get is a carrying case, four swappable paddles, six thumbsticks, two D-pads, and a USB-C charging dock. Honestly, It’s worth it alone for the paddle buttons. Being able to jump and reload without taking my thumb off the right stick is a godsend. The elongated analog sticks are also great to give you more precision when aiming. Though if you find yourself wanting a weighty, customizable controller but don’t need every bell and whistle, you can opt for the Elite 2 Core for $129 which gives you the controller alone. You’ll still be able to take advantage of the adjustable-tension thumbsticks, wrap-around rubberized grip, and hair-trigger locks. You can also always pick up the Elite 2 Component Pack later on if you feel like you’re missing out on the paddles and everything else.
