Mavericks Simplifies the Exploding Ecosystem of Men's Skincare [Updated]

Just as with underwear, men suddenly have a slew of premium skincare and shaving cream options to parse through. Fortunately, Mavericks makes it ridiculously easy.

Mavericks is a three product process:

Mavericks is also clean:

We put in as much retinol, AHA, vitamins, hyaluronic acid, and other beneficial ingredients as allowed without prescriptions.

And took out parabens, sulfates, microbeads, phthalates, synthetic dyes and fragrances. A ton of stuff you want and none of what you don’t.

The Mavericks Face Kit is $89 for a 90-day supply, which is far from dirt cheap, but far from out of the question for premium skincare products.

I don’t have bad skin or any notable skin issues, but my skin feels great after spending some time doing the Mavericks routine. Very few men even bother with a moisturizer or any kind of sun protection on the regular, much less a nighttime regimen, so Mavericks is a great way to jump onto the right track.

Update 7/15/17:

We’ve used Mavericks’ shaving cream extensively at this point, and we’re sold. It’s quite possibly the slickest shaving cream we’ve ever used, and has moisturizer and aftershave built right in.
