What’s up, Thick Thigh Crew? Thankfully, it isn’t summer anymore, and our days of chafing are behind us. That is unless you live somewhere that’s hot year-round, or if you’re traveling somewhere warm. Then, chafing is a constant worry. In preparation for a trip to Orlando to visit Disney World and Universal, I knew I needed something to prevent chafing.

When I go to Disney, I try my best to open and close the park, which means I am there all day and walking for 12-14 hours a day. Even if I am not wearing a dress, chafing is bound to happen when I walk that much. I knew I’d want to wear jeans for ~fashion~ purposes, as this was a trip for my friend’s 30th birthday. But wearing jeans in 85-degree weather in Orlando? I would have been an idiot not to think my thighs would hate me by the end of my trip. Thankfully, this didn’t happen, because I got a pack of Bandelettes Elastic Anti-Chafing Thigh Bands.

My friends seriously judged me when I pulled these out of my suitcase, but I was the only one who wasn’t complaining at the end of the day. As expected, we did a lot of walking when we were in Disney, about 25,000 steps for six days in a row. Three of those Disney days, I wore jeans and the thigh bands under my jeans.

The Bandelettes Elastic Anti-Chafing Thigh Bands are designed to be worn under dresses, skirts, and shorts. But I didn’t feel like wearing shorts, again for style, so I wore jeans. The bands have over 4,700 reviews on Amazon with a four-star average, and come in six sizes (21-22" to 31-32"). The bands are available in both lace and in a flat unisex design (yep, guys can wear them too), in red, white, chocolate, and black.

The bands were very simple to pull on, and didn’t roll down at all. When wearing the Bandelettes, I didn’t even feel them under my jeans at all. I honestly forgot they were there until I rolled down my jeans to pee and saw them again. One of my poor friends really needed these on the day we were in the Magic Kingdom, but alas, I only brought the one pair
