Greats is Making Your Next Favorite Shoes, Starting at $49 [Updated]

Greats is the first direct to consumer sneaker brand born in Brooklyn, and their quality, courageous color choices, competitive pricing, and wide range of styles should put them on your shoe shopping shortlist.

Update 2/27/18: The Pronto’s beautifully vintage colorways demand a spot in your shoe closet.

Update 2/27/18: These perforated Rosens are rocking a Vibram FreeRide outsole, available in a rare “sand” colorway, and only $99.

Don’t ever tell Greats the odds of making men’s open-toed shoes look good. Why don’t you slide?

The Hirsch is one of the best chukkas I’ve ever worn (there have been a lot!), managing to be lightweight and breathable while still offering serious support. It’s en vogue to put a white accent on the bottom of non-white shoes as if to say, “Hey everybody, this guy’s wearing a supportive shoe, what a loser,” but the white stripe looks great here, and the heel counter really brings it all together. More colors, please.

The Royale is classic sneaker, handmade with premium materials in Italy, and available in a ton of ever-changing color options. Royales are soft, supportive, and socks optional.

Greats has a lot more to offer, including running shoes starting at $49, women’s shoes, and some pretty wild hiking boots. Buying multiple pairs nets you a discount, and returns and exchanges are free. We’ll be checking in with their new releases on the regular.
