DeLonghi 1500W Oil Filled Radiator
I have an office connected to the back of my garage where I work everyday that is not connected to my house’s HVAC system. It’s about 300 sq ft... I tried many different types and combos of heating systems, but they were all great in sending heat in a specific direction to me... This heater is awesome in that it radiates heat everywhere... I can set times for it to change throughout the day. It’s also nice, because with 3 small kids who come in here a few times a day, they can touch it and it won’t burn them. - unclejesse
DeLonghi Mica Panel Heater
I’ve had two ofthese wonderfully slim, light, and silent space heaters. My dad borrowed my first one for a weekend and liked it so much he kept. I also talked a friend into buying one, and he mounted it on the inside of a fireplace which actually works insanely well. In general, it works insanely well! It’s $80 on Amazon right now. And I’d bet it’ll pay for itself in saved heating costs. - Adam Clark Estes
Presto Heat Dish (Amazon/Costco)
... It doesn’t heat an entire room, but it’s enough to keep me warm while watching TV at night. I like not having to turn up the heater so much that it dries out my sinuses and heats up spaces that I’m not currently using... - kateperegrinate
Utilitech Oil-Filled Radiant Tower
Readers point out the effective and quiet operation of the Utilitech, along with its lower price compared to the similar DeLonghi.
Lasko Ceramic Tower Heater
have this and love it... great price too for what it offers. The large button remote is sensational, cause i’ll wake up half asleep either too hot or too cold, and i don’t even have to look at the remote to do changes to the temperature. Mine have also lasted many years of daily use, and what I love most is the small footprint. I used to have the small lasko, but it would blow hot hair waaay too low. This one keeps it at a good height that you can get direct heat while sitting down or on a platform bed. - mitsuk0
