Known boot companies may have maintained their constructions and designs for a century, but that doesn’t matter when their boots tend to be ridiculously uncomfortable, or require some kind of “breaking in” process. Thursday Boots are comfortable out of the box.
Our two largest partners include the gold certificate Le Farc tannery in Mexico and the world famous Horween tannery in Chicago. All of our boots are handcrafted in either Leon (Mexico) or New York City (USA). Each pair is engineered with precision by skilled artisans.
Thursday makes the most comfortable and best-looking lace-up boots we’ve worn. I’m wearing the Captain in Midnight Suede as I write this, and we also checked out the President in Cognac Suede. Thursday has a wide variety of styles, but great lace-ups are harder to find than other boot styles, and great suede leather boots are harder to find than standard “chrome” leather, so that’s where we focused.
Beyond the comfort factor, Thursday Boots are re-soleable, “virtually” waterproof (!), feature leather lining, and have some of the best laces we’ve ever tied. We’ll be wearing them for years, and definitely keeping an eye on their limited edition Black Label Collection for that sweet, sweet Color #8.
