We asked for your favorite foundation, and you delivered. After many really great jokes about actual Foundations, a clear winner among many has emerged from the Co-Op. Giorgio Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation has been crowned your favorite foundation.
The award-winning foundation is kind of a cult-favorite, so it’s not like it was a dark horse here. It also comes in 24 shades, which is incredibly impressive.
Just look at what people had to say about it:
Why do I like it? It has medium coverage, it matches my ghost level skin tone. It has a beautiful dewy finish. It goes on silky smooth. It doesn’t break me out! (which is a feat) Quite costly as far as foundation goes, but I feel it is worth it. I don’t believe there’s many dewy medium coverage foundations out there. - dunkinbronuts
Yes! I was having some skin issues due to a birth control change and went to Sephora on the hunt for a full-coverage foundation. The makeup artist directed me towards this medium-coverage with a full-coverage concealer (Make Up Forever), and I’m so glad she did. It’s the perfect combo. - emannstan
I love this stuff. It gets my vote, expense be damned. Somehow it looks *better* later in the day than when you first put it on. My mother recommended Armani to me originally, although she wears the Maestro kind. - kminola
Hands down Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. I’ve been using it for 13 years and any time I deviate, I regret it. It’s expensive but I’d rather buy 2/3 bottles a year than buy dozens of rubbish ones that end up in the foundation graveyard. - candy_pants
this shit is jam. i KNOW it’s pricy. but there is no dupe in the world that approaches. like i love me some drug store makeup, but arguing that Maybelline FIT performs as well as armani silk is like arguing that a philly cheesesteak hotpocket tastes just like a prime rib. - SuchMuch
Love love this foundation and I will never wear any other, as my skin is a bitch to match: I am not ghost level, rather the opposite end of the foundation impossibility spectrum- multi racial. This elixir is neither too pink nor too yellow, and it DOES NOT OXIDIZE! - NiceLady
I was hoping someone would post this one!! It’s super light, but the coverage is amazing! I had a pro- makeup artist recommend it at a Pinup Makeup tutorial, and I haven’t used anything else since!! - Dawn Nichole
Taking both second and third places were two foundations from BareEssentials. The original BareMinerals SPF 15 foundation had a lot of fans. Coming in behind that was the bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation.
