Apple’s Magic Mouse is surely one of the most-used mice in the world, if only for the fact that it’s sold by Apple. And yet, its sharp corners and thin profile make it an ergonomic disaster compared to palm-friendly mice like the Logitech MX line.
Enter Elevation Lab’s Magic Grips. The grips attach to your existing Magic Mouse, and add a comfortable concave nook to rest your thumb, plus a wider, more comfortable base for your grip. They don’t add any height to the mouse, which in my opinion is its biggest issue, but they still make it noticeably more comfortable.
Each set comes with three stick-on grips, one of which attaches to the outside of the mouse, while the other two represent two different thickness options for the thumb side. Just peel off the adhesive backing, wipe off the bottom of your mouse, and press them into place. The bottoms of the grips are still above the height of the Mouse’s sliding pads, so they don’t affect how it moves on your desk. They don’t work miracles, but they’re inexpensive and improve a peripheral that many people use for hours every day.
