Nau Won't Be the Winter of Your Discontent

Nau is an (mostly) outerwear brand that marries great design with premium technical materials. We checked out a representative sample that we never want to take off, and can’t wait to try more.

Say goodbye to chambray. The Twisted Shirt is your new favorite warm weather button down- a blend of tencel and organic cotton with built-in UV protection. We prefer the gray and blue colorways. It kept us cool out in the sun at the most recent Outpost and at Joshua Tree.

The Randygoat Sweatshirt is in the running to be our favorite merino hoody, a truly coveted position indeed. The Randygoat is amazingly soft, and brings that comforting feeling only a hoody can, along with the right balance of warmth and breathability. We usually favor darker grays, but the light gray shade here is really good, and kept us warm when the temperature dropped in NorCal.

The Nazca Sweater is all alpaca and nothing else, wonderfully chunky with a great henley-esque neck and shoulder and elbow patches. You’ll want to live in it.
