I Bought Glass Shower Doors On Amazon, Twice

New York City new construction presents some interesting challenges. An open concept standing shower with glass that only runs about 3/4ths of its length is a bad idea anywhere, much less in a city where outside temperatures can drop below zero. And that’s before taking into account getting water all over the floor.

Do you measure your shower and take a rented U-Haul to Home Depot in the hopes they’ll have something? Of course not, you order on Amazon.

I bought this shower door back in August 2014, with free shipping of course, and closed the gap between my original shower glass and the wall, with no modifications to the glass needed.

Inspired by my success and a hatred of shower curtains, I went on to add this sliding glass shower door to my guest bathroom bathtub in May 2015.

Prices on these things can fluctuate pretty wildly, so find the model you want and keep an eye on it for a while.
