No, but you could transfer them to the same travel partner, i.e. Marriot, if there’s overlap in the transfer partner options. But, there’s no reason not to have points in multiple places except for the fact that it’s more to keep track of. Read more

The guaranteed Hilton/Starwood/Marriott status with the Amex Platinum is a better way to go than conditional statuses with the Ritz-Carlton, all other things being equal. You could also get a much better points return on $10k on a lot of other cards vs. the RC card. Read more
