I really don't know. I'm not sure if we'll ever see the super-mega-size hdtvs come out of 'novelty' status because of their impracticality. If we assume that we will not, then we're unlikely to see manufacturers make enough of them for the price to drop below 1k. Just IMO, tho. Read more

I never assume that, man. I've never ordered from Paul's TV, but I've heard good things. I do certainly like the 120Hz refresh on that set better, but I like the 2.5-inch thickness of the Phillips. That's probably just my preference, though. If you're not wall mounting, it's not an issue. Read more
