Amazon’s latest internet-connected security camera promises to be better in every way—including price.
The Blink XT2, a battery-powered, wireless 1080p HD video smart security camera now features two-way talk, which can be used as a long-range walkie-talkie with your friends and family, or as a way to scare off intruders.
Of course, the XT2 retains all of the major features from the highly-regarded, previous generation including weatherproofing, two-year battery life, motion detection, app-based management and monitoring, a purely wireless experience, and of course, integration with the rest of Amazon’s ecosystem, such as the Echo Show and Amazon’s in-home Key delivery service.
The starter kit which includes a Blink XT2 and a Blink Sync Module is available for $100, and standalone, add-on units start at $90.
A two-cam system for $180 and a three-cam system for $250 are also available. All are available for pre-order today on Amazon and will ship later this month.
