8bitdo, maker of funky retro-style controllers, released—you guessed it—a pair of new funky, retro-style designed for the Nintendo Switch.
The 8Bitdo Lite Bluetooth Gamepads for Nintendo Switch Lite cost a meager $25 at launch and will come in two colors, Turquoise and Yellow.
These controllers, while designed to mimic the design language and colors of the Nintendo Switch Lite, can be used with regular Switch, Windows PCs, and the Raspberry Pi.
Designed for portability, these controllers skip fiddly joysticks. Instead, 8bitdo put the D-Pad in the primary position, instead of the bottom.
Like the Switch Lite, it’ll charge via USB-C and lacks any rumble functionality.
Suffice to say, these wireless controllers would be terrific for those games on the recently released SNES emulator, available with the Online subscription, or with the 2D games in the eShop, like Stardew Valley.
These controllers will ship next month on October 30.
