Haven’t you heard? The Amazon Echo is actually really great (and only getting better over time), and you can save $40 on yours, for a limited time.

In addition to being a pretty solid Bluetooth speaker, the Echo can check the weather, turn on your lights, read you the news, trigger custom IFTTT recipes, order food, and—my personal favorite—read you Jeopardy questions like a robotic Alex Trebek.

You might be thinking that you’ll wait and see if there’s a better deal on the Echo on Black Friday. But we suspect that Amazon will be offering several high-profile deals during Deals Week that you can only order via Alexa, in which case you’ll really want to have your Echo set up and ready to go before you finish eating your turkey.

The temperatures are dropping as the apocalypse is nigh and Amazon is here to help keep you warm with their rather large sale on sweaters. Grab one for yourself, your partner, even your kids. Get your Ken Bone sweater for Election Day and confuse your family. The options are endless, but this deal definitely isn’t.

A lot of times, boots forget that you have feet inside them. By the end of the day, you can’t feel your toes or your ankles feel like they’ve been constantly kicked. But with Amazon’s Gold Box full of women’s boots from brands that care about comfort, your feet will be in for a winter wonderland. But this deal walks away at the end of the day, so you’d better hurry.

Panasonic’s popular Arc5 and Arc4 electric shavers certainly aren’t the cheapest razors you can but, but with five or four floating blades respectively, you won’t find many that give you a closer or more comfortable shave.

Three different models are on sale for some of their lowest ever prices today, starting at $75 for a basic model with a pop-up beard trimer, and stretching up to $120 for an Arc4 with a cleaning and charging base, and $140 for a high-end Arc5.

If you’re heading out to an AMC theater this weekend (say, to see Arrival), these $25 and $50 gift cards come with a free $6 popcorn voucher. That’s worth its weight in gold butter.

One of the best wireless router deals we’ve ever seen is running right now at T-Mobile, of all places. $74 gets you a rebranded ASUS RT-AC68U AC1900 router (with code CYBER7), which is about $80 less than buying it from Amazon, and an amazing deal on our readers’ recently crowned favorite router.

This 21' globe-style solar-powered LED light strand could obviously come in handy for holiday decorating, but really, they’ll look great hanging above your patio all year round. For $5, why not?

You know when you ask someone to take a picture of you and your family on vacation, and you quickly learn that almost nobody understands how to take a decent photo? With a mini tripod, you can be in total control of those long range selfies, and this $10 model works with everything from DSLRs to smartphones.

The Krinner Christmas Tree Genie carries a 4.7 star rating and an Amazon top seller badge, and it’s easy to see why. It can adjust to hold trunks between 1" and 7" in diameter, it closes with the press of a foot pedal, and even features a built-in level indicator so nobody has to yell timber.

$60 isn’t chump change, but it is an all-time low price on a product that you’ll reuse year after year, so it’s probably worth the investment.

I don’t hunt or shoot guns, but this product fascinates me regardless. Basically, it’s a pair of standard earmuffs to protect your hearing from loud gunshots, but it includes a microphone and speakers in the ear cups to amplify non-harmful noises. That means that normal human speech will come through loud and clear, but once noise levels exceed 82 db, the audio shuts off automatically. That’s really clever.

For $9, you can own a real life book safe, just like the movies. The best part is that you don’t have to worry about someone stumbling upon it by mistake, because nobody actually uses printed dictionaries anymore.

This is everything you could want in a $12 surge protector. Six outlets, two USB ports, and a swiveling design that minimizes the distance the whole setup will project out from your wall once everything’s plugged in.

When it comes to cleaning hard floors, you’ve basically got three options to choose from, if you don’t want to get down on your hands and knees:

  • A regular old mop, which can leave your floors wet for hours.
  • A Swiffer WetJet, or any similar product that uses chemical spray that can leave a residue, and disposable (i.e. expensive) cleaning pads.
  • A steam mop, which cleans using regular old water that dries within seconds.

Now, I’ll let you draw your own conclusions, but the choice seems rather obvious to me, especially when you can get a highly rated Hoover steam mop for just $55 today only on Amazon. That’s the best price we’ve seen in over half a year.
