Whether you’re starting an Eneloop collection, or just adding to the family, you can get an 8-pack of rechargeable AAs for $20 today. If you’re unfamiliar, these were your favorite rechargeable batteries in a recent Kinja Co-Op, and it wasn’t close. [8-Pack AA Panasonic Eneloop Rechargeable Batteries, $20]

One of the biggest sticking points that keeps people from cutting cable out of their lives is the cable company-provided DVR, and all the time shifting convenience that comes with it. But if you’re committed to cutting the cord, here’s a great deal on a better alternative.

The TiVo Roamio OTA is the TiVo box you know and love, but designed specifically for users of HDTV antennas. The box itself retails for $50, but the rub is that it comes saddled with a $15 monthly service fee. Today on Amazon though, you can get the box plus lifetime (of the box, not of you) service for a single, upfront $300 fee. That’s a hefty investment, but it’ll pay for itself in 17 months compared to committing to a monthly fee.

I use an older TiVo Premiere (also with lifetime service) with my HDTV antenna, and I love that it allows me to save shows like Colbert and Jeopardy (yeah, I watch Jeopardy) that aren’t available on Hulu. Plus, recording over the antenna means I can skip commercials, and won’t eat into my monthly data cap. [TiVo Roamio OTA HD DVR with Product Lifetime Service, $300]

The NBA season is upon us, and for a limited time, you can get a free copy of NBA 2K16 with the purchase of select Xbox One bundles. There’s no cash discount available, unfortunately, but if you’re an NBA fan anyway, it’s one less game you need to buy. Go Spurs! [Xbox One Bundles + NBA 2K16, $350-$400]

Belkin’s iconic mini surge protector is ideal for traveling, or just for plugging in behind your night stand, and you can grab one today on Amazon for just $15, which is within a few pennies of its all-time low price.

While the three AC outlets and two USB charging ports are nice, the real star of the show here is the surge protector’s 360 degree swiveling plug. That means you’ll be hard pressed to find an outlet where this won’t fit, including the ones built into the nightstand lamps in hotel rooms. [Belkin SurgePlus 3-Outlet Mini Travel Swivel Charger Surge Protector, $15]

Still not convinced? This thing is won a Lifehacker Hive Five for most popular portable power strip just a few weeks ago.

If you want to take a data-driven approach to your weight loss regimen, this $49 smart scale can sync with your iPhone or Android device to track your vitals over time. And yes, it works with iOS HealthKit.

I’ve been using a similar scale for the last few months, and I’ve loved having a daily graph of my weight fluctuations. Except right after a recent trip to New York and its accompanying bars and restaurants...I didn’t like it then. [Etekcity 11lb-400lb Bluetooth Body Fat BMI Weight Bathroom Scale, $45 with code BLSC14OF]

If you want to build a monitor array without breaking the bank, Dell Financial Services is taking an extra 50% off used monitors with promo code MONITOR50. A lot of the monitor are pretty crappy (1280x1024 for $25!), but you’ll find some decent options if you use the sidebar sorting tools. Unfortunately, shipping isn’t free, but the 50% discount more than makes up for that. [Extra 50% off Used Monitors with Code MONITOR50]

If you have any old hard drives or SSDs lying around, this cheap docking station can turn two of them into USB external drives for any computer. We post enclosures like this fairly often, but this is pretty unique in that it supports both 2.5” and 3.5” drives. [ORICO Dual Bay SATA to USB3.0 External Hard Drive Docking Station with Duplicator/Clone Function-Black, $29 with code A9BATG7E]

The tiny-but-powerful Olympus OM-D E-M10 Micro 4/3 camera just got a Mark II sequel, and that means you can get a great price on the original, if you don’t necessarily care about slightly improved OIS and a marginally sharper viewfinder. [Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mirrorless Digital Camera with 14-42mm 2RK lens, $499]

If you don’t need the kit lens, you can save an extra $50 as well.

KMASHI’s cheap battery packs are some of the most popular items we’ve ever posted, and their well-reviewed 15,000mAh model is down to just $14 today, matching an all-time low. This beefy battery is perfect for long camping trips, flights, and power outages, or for sharing with others during a long day away from an outlet. [KMASHI 15000mAh Dual USB External Battery Pack, $14 with code RJTZMPYG]

If you just happen to be in the market for a new treadmill, LifeSpan’s TR4000i folding model is down to $1300 on Amazon today as part of a Gold Box deal. That’s not cheap, but it’s about $400-$500 less than usual, and an all-time low. Just be sure to grab it before the end of the day, when the price will return to normal. [LifeSpan TR4000i Folding Treadmill, $1300]

You guys buy up a ton of these touch-sensitive night lights every time we post them, and today on Amazon, you can get two for the price of one. These aren’t the motion sensitive models, but since they can stick anywhere in your house via included adhesive strips, they’re perfect for dim closets and cabinets. [BOGO OxyLED T-01S Super bright DIY Stick-on Anywhere 4-LED Touch Light, $13. Add two to cart and use code SKYPVSIN]

If you own a GoPro Hero4, there’s really no reason not to stock up on batteries at this price. [GoPro Rechargable Battery for HERO4, $12]

If you need some new reading material for your Kindle, the 4.3 star rated Rewinder is down to just $2 today.

You will never read Denny Younger’s name in any history book, but the world as you know it wouldn’t be the same without him. Denny was born into one of the lowest rungs of society, but his bleak fortunes changed the day the mysterious Upjohn Institute recruited him. The role: “verifier of personal histories.” The job title: Rewinder. After accepting the offer, Denny discovers he’ll have to do his research in person…by traveling through time.

Using a device capable of opening a portal into any era from the past, Denny is sent back to serve as an eyewitness to significant moments in human history. But as he journeys across the centuries, he begins to suspect that his missions to “observe and report” have a much darker purpose. When a time jump drops Denny into the midst of a rebellion, he finds himself in over his head in a deadly game where even the smallest choices can have catastrophic consequences.

Armed only with his wits and his time-travel device, Denny’s adventures take readers on a pulse-pounding journey of page-turning twists. But will everything he’s got be enough?

With in-body 3-axis stabilization, a compact body, and the same sensor as Olympus’s high end OM-D line, the Olympus E-PL6 is a fantastic Micro 4/3 shooter for anyone looking to graduate from smartphone photography. I’ve owned the nearly-identical E-PL5 for a couple years, and I’m still consistently blown away by the quality of images it produces.

Today on eBay, you can get the body, a pair of lenses, a starter SD card, and an $80 Visa gift card for just $400. For comparison, the camera with a single kit lens is currently selling for $300 on Amazon, so when you account for the gift card, you’re basically getting a telephoto lens for $20 extra. [Olympus E-PL6 with 14-42mm II, 40-150mm, 8GB SD Card, and $80 Visa Gift Card, $400]
