Your Best Men's Snow Boots Are From L.L. Bean

The nominations for your favorite men’s snow boots are in, and it was basically a blizzard of L.L. Bean boots.

Classic LL Bean 8" Boot. 100% waterproof; good traction & comfort. Insulated versions available too if you want more warmth, but I find wool socks with these are plenty warm down to about zero F. Lifetime guarantee & made in USA. Had a pair of Sorels before, and the Beans are far and away better for comfort, versatility, & durability. - TheRoyalWe

L.L. Bean Boots. I have owned two pair—the first I bought in Chicago in 1982, and they lasted about 20 years. The second I bought in Connecticut a couple of years ago. They will stand up to snow, slush, you name it, and come in so many variants it’s hard t keep track. Color, height, lined/unlined. But they’re all thoroughly waterproof and thoroughly comfortable. About $120. - Andy “The Weird Turn Pro” M-S

Classic LL Bean boots. I think they’ve FINALLY gotten them back in stock (though I got my most RECENT pair about two years ago during the summer). They’re incredibly well built, warm enough that I forgo any kind of liner and am fine yearlong, perpetually good looking in that functional sort of way, and pretty affordable. Couple that with Bean’s notoriously good return policy and you’ve got a winner. - Cervertus
