I want very little in my life to be superfluously designed or ornate, but one does not simply ignore this pine tree surrounded by cotton swabs snow.


Qualy shotgun blasts whimsy at the wall, and eventually some of it sticks. When they miss, as they often do, you get a creepy cat or nondescript owl as a wine bottle saver, but when they hit, well, here we go...

Then there’s this ice bucket that simulates global warming as its content melts.

Actually that one’s not whimsical it’s just incredibly depressing.
