Adding in some mixed materials and succulents is a great way to diversify your workspace, and Kikkerland has both covered.

I just repotted a tray of Amazon succulents, courtesy of Kinja Deals, into Kikkerland’s concrete desk organizers, and some vessels from Bold Maker Studio.

Stone frequently doesn’t come cheap, but Kikkerland’s offerings keep it affordable. The best of the bunch is definitely the Concrete Desktop Planter, which is holding some plants and the chalk for the chalkboard wall in my kitchen, but the versatile pieces or full set would do well in a lot of situations. Fair warning, the lamp doesn’t have a switch, it’s plug and unplug to turn on and off.

Kikkerland also makes some matching lights which I’ll be hanging soon:

Update 3/5/18: For something in the same vein but more formidable, check out Target’s impulse-priced concrete planter.
