The second time proved to be a charm for Amazon’s Alexa-powered Echo Dot, as the $50 smart speaker was one of the most popular items we posted around the holidays.
The Dot features the same Alexa voice assistant and impressive microphone array as the full sized Echo. And while its built-in speaker lacks punch, it’s fine for most use cases, and it can optionally pair to any other Bluetooth speaker if you need more volume.
