I store mine rimside down, but not for any of these reasons. I stack my cups on top of each other to fit more in the cabinet. I have that crap sorted. Put in those nice padded liners, then store rim side down. The liners are clean and they reduce any risk of chipping. They also elevate the glass and have little holes so the glass can breath, preventing condensation from forming from any residual moisture. Read more
