It’s bleach you have to worry about, not soap. But I’m glad you asked so I can say this: Don’t mix bleach and vinegar! (Bleach and ammonia is the big one to avoid, but it’s also true of vinegar and other acids, so.) Read more

Put it in the soap compartment — you can do so at the start of the wash, but it’s ideal if you can do so just before the rinse cycle begins, which means hanging out or knowing the exact timing of when the rinse cycle begins, which is a pain, but may be worth it doghouse-wise. Read more
