I’ve been wearing a wide assortment of baseball caps for the past few years, and I thought it was time to shake things up a little. And for that, I need your advice, Buy Committee.
My NYXL and various BBQ joint hats have served me well over the past few years, but sometimes you just need a change, y’know? I brought up my idea of trying out a new hat type to my co-workers, but Ana, Chelsea, Shep and Zach all shot me down.
But I’m stubborn, and I desperately need a new look.
I want a new hat that tells cute girls, “Oh, hey, he looks like he’s adventurous, will be nice to my mom, and he definitely lives in Brooklyn.” A hat that lives in between trying a little but not being a jerk about it. One with a wider brim, but not a fedora. (Also one that hasn’t been co-opted by a deplorable group would be a huge plus.)
