This Little Green Bottle Helped Me Stop Wearing So Much Concealer

I’ll admit that when I bought the Dr. Jart+ Tiger Grass Camo Drops, they weren’t my first choice. I had wanted to try out the Color Correcting Cream after coworkers raved about it, but it was sold out basically everywhere (even online). Now, it feels like I made the better decision.

Tiger grass, aka Centella Asiatica, is having a moment in K-beauty right now. It has been used in medicinal applications for centuries, but it’s made its way into skin care and onto the shelves of your local Sephora in the form of the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair line. The newest of which, the Camo Drops, are now my ride-or-die. If I had to choose one piece of make up or skin care (because these are kind of both) to only wear for the rest of my life, this little bottle full of green slime would be it.

What separates the Camo Drops from the rest of the Cicapair clan is the hybrid nature of the product. The Cream and Serum are both treatments, meant to banish redness and soothe irritated skin. The Color Correcting Treatment is an all over green-tinged balm with SPF that fades into your skin color and helps even out any blotchy or red skin. The Camo Drops combine all three, with the punch of redness-fighting ingredients of the Serum and Cream, but the neutralizing color and technology of the Color Correcting Treatment, all mixed together into a lightweight liquid.

No foundation, tinted moisturizer, BB or CC cream has ever worked on me, so I thought until I could spend the money on expensive facials to even my skin out, I’d be stuck slathering concealer all over my face. But the Camo Drops are my second step in the morning (after moisturizer) and my concealer now only goes on my giant under eye bags and a few spot treatments. That’s it.

While the price is a bit steep, you don’t need a lot to treat your whole face, just a couple drops. And since I literally use this every day, even if I’m not putting on other makeup, it pays for itself pretty quickly.
