We recently checked out TwelveSouth’s Fermata headphone stand which hides a micro-USB cable for charging wireless headphones. Today we’re looking at Satechi’s offering which brings with it a whole USB hub and audio passthrough.
Satechi’s stand is part of their metallic series, which is one of the best-looking budget desktop accessories lines we’ve seen. Like the rest of the line, you can pick a stand color to match your iPhone colorway of choice.
While three front-facing USB ports and cable management hooks are certainly useful, this stand’s best feature is audio passthrough. Plug the stand into your computer and your wired headphones into the audio jack on the stand and you’re all set.
If you’re still dropping your headphones on your desk when you’re done with them, Satechi’s stand is a great-looking, functional, and competitively priced upgrade.
