It might not seem like mission-critical equipment, but there are times when owning a label maker can really come in handy, and you can buy a really good one right now for just $19.

Unlike many cheap label makers, DYMO’s LabelManager 280 can print graphics and barcodes, and also features a rechargeable battery so you don’t have to hunt down any AAs. I have a similar model in my drawer, and while I don’t use it every day, it definitely earns its keep every few months or so.
