By now, you probably have a USB battery pack or two to keep your phones charged, and that’s great! But I’m willing to bet most of them won’t start your car if its battery dies.

Motorola’s SB6141 cable modem is still the best modem for most people, but what if your cable ISP offers downstream speeds greater than 343mbps (yes, these ISPs do exist). The next step up is the SB6183, which is down to an all-time low $99 today.
Functionally, it’s identical to the SB6141, except that it supports double the downstream bandwidth: Up to 686 mbps. Those kinds of speeds are a wispy daydream for most, but if you’re lucky enough to have an ISP that doesn’t suck, this is a great deal if you’re sick of paying modem rental fees.
