Note: Be sure to check out all of Amazon’s Eneloop listings if you’re buying in bulk. For example, $20 is a good price for the 8-pack of AAs, but if you need more, you can opt for a 16-pack for $37. That’s not a traditionally great price for that particular item, but it’s still a better deal for anyone who needs a lot of batteries.

We’ve spotted a pair of great Bluetooth speaker deals today, both for $25 or less.

Pellet grills offer the set-it-and-forget-it convenience of gas, but with the smokiness and flavor of charcoal, and you can get your very own for $385 today. If you’re not familiar with how this type of grill works, the (somewhat cheesy) video above should get you up to speed. My parents got a similar grill a few years ago, and now they send me delicious homemade jerky from time to time, so I’m not just blowing smoke here. Tweetbot for Mac is one of a small handful of apps that I couldn’t live without, and they’re celebrating their 2.1 update with a tidy little discount today. [Tweetbot, $10. Normally $13]

And in case you missed it, Tweetbot’s excellent iOS app also got its long-awaited 4.0 update. If you have the previous version, you’ll always be able to upgrade for $5 by buying an app bundle, but if you’re new to the app, you can get it for the same price for a limited time. [Tweetbot 4, $5. We’ve seen a lot of nice deals on Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0-compatible chargers lately, but $10 for a 4-port model (though only one is a QuickCharge port) is basically unprecedented. While I’ve never heard of the manufacturer, this stainless steel kitchen trashcan looks great, and includes a touch-free motion sensor for just $40. I’m still anxiously awaiting a truly “smart” trash can that can talk to my phone and respond to IFTTT recipes, but this is a good start for the price. This isn’t a deal; more of a PSA. Fallout Monopoly is here, it’s real, and you can order a box for 40 caps, exclusively from GameStop. It doesn’t ship until November, but I’ll be shocked if preorders don’t sell out quickly. [Fallout Monopoly, $40]

One of the biggest sticking points that keeps people from cutting cable out of their lives is the cable company-provided DVR, and all the time shifting convenience that comes with it. But if you’re committed to cutting the cord, here’s a great deal on a better alternative.

The TiVo Roamio OTA is the TiVo box you know and love, but designed specifically for users of HDTV antennas. The box itself retails for $50, but the rub is that it comes saddled with a $15 monthly service fee. Today on Amazon though, you can get the box plus lifetime (of the box, not of you) service for a single, upfront $300 fee. That’s a hefty investment, but it’ll pay for itself in 17 months compared to committing to a monthly fee.

I use an older TiVo Premiere (also with lifetime service) with my HDTV antenna, and I love that it allows me to save shows like Colbert and Jeopardy (yeah, I watch Jeopardy) that aren’t available on Hulu. Belkin’s iconic mini surge protector is ideal for traveling, or just for plugging in behind your night stand, and you can grab one today on Amazon for just $15, which is within a few pennies of its all-time low price.

While the three AC outlets and two USB charging ports are nice, the real star of the show here is the surge protector’s 360 degree swiveling plug. That means you’ll be hard pressed to find an outlet where this won’t fit, including the ones built into the nightstand lamps in hotel rooms.
