If you want a new set of sunglasses to get through the rest of the summer, Amazon’s offering dozens of models for up to 60% off today. [Get up to 60% Off Select Sunglasses at Amazon]

A few days ago, the high-end model of Apple’s drool-worthy new 12” MacBook went on sale for $15o off. If you were waiting for a similar deal on the cheaper 256GB model though, today’s your lucky day. Plus, most of you won’t have to pay sales tax, which potentially represents even more savings. [Apple MacBook 256GB, $1150]

Update: Sold out

Dyson vacuums dominated the nominations in our Kinja Co-Op for best vacuum, but they can be prohibitively expensive. Today only though, refurbs of the popular Dyson DC41 are down to $200 on Amazon, an all-time low.

These normally sell for $350-$400 new, or at least $250 refurbished, so this really is a solid Gold Box deal. The DC41 rides on top of a ball, allowing for nimble movement around your furniture, and its nylon brush spins at 90 revolutions per second to dislodge dirt caked into your carpets and rugs. Just remember that this price is only available today, but it could very well sell out early. [Refurb Dyson DC41 Bagless Vacuum, $200]

If only the best will do, GoPro’s Hero4 Black action cam is a whopping $130 off today, which is the best deal we’ve ever seen. [GoPro Hero4 Black, $370]

This is the best action camera on the market.

If your Kindle library is a little sparse, Amazon just put 225 books on sale for $1-$2 each. You can use the sidebar to sort by genre, by this Wayward Pines prequel seems interesting for fans of the TV show or the original trilogy, and I really enjoyed Undersea when I read it a few years ago. [225 Kindle Books for $1-$2]

I was a longtime user of the iOttie One Touch dash mount, which you voted as your favorite over on Kinja Co-Op, but I recently experimented with a magnetic alternative, and I have to say, I love the thing.

Unlike traditional suction cup-based mounts, this Spigen magnetic air vent mount ($6 today with code SPIGENRT) won’t obscure your view of the road, and when your phone is mounted to it, it’s in fact completely invisible. A big worry about these things is that they’ll cover up a valuable vent during the hottest and coldest times of the year, but I’ve found that you can stick the mount on the very top of the vent, and the magnetic plate against the very bottom of you phone, and only block a small fraction of your airflow. [Spigen Magnetic Air Vent Mount, $6 with code SPIGENRT]

KMASHI’s cheap battery packs are some of the most popular items we’ve ever posted, and their well-reviewed 15,000mAh model is down to just $14 today, matching all-time low. This beefy battery is perfect for long camping trips, flights, and power outages, or for sharing with others during a long day away from an outlet. [KMASHI 15000mAh External Battery Pack, $14 with code Q29OJRQH]

If you want to upgrade to an energy-efficient tankless water heater, today might be the day to jump, as Amazon has the highly-rated Ecomsmart ECO 27 marked down to $360 as part of a Gold Box deal. That’s roughly $100-$140 less than usual, and a match for the lowest price ever listed.

The energy savings are all well and good, but the real kicker with a tankless heater is unlimited hot water. That means your showers will never be cut short by the dishwasher again. As with all Gold Box deals, this price is only valid today, or until sold out. [Ecosmart ECO 27 Electric Tankless Water Heater, $360]

The 38” model of one of your favorite sound bars is only $150 right now, if you don’t mind a refurb. The VIZIO 3851w normally sells for $220 refurbished, or $280 new, and has great reviews no matter where you look.

In addition to the actual “bar,” which includes the left, right, and center front channels, this system includes a wireless subwoofer that sits in the back of your viewing room, plus a pair of satellite speakers that hook into it to give you 5.1 channel surround sound, no receiver required. It’s not entirely wireless, but it eliminates the need to run a wire from your TV to the back of the room, which is usually more than half the battle.

I bought this exact system a few months ago to replace my receiver and bookshelf speakers, and I absolutely love it [VIZIO 3851w-D4 Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer and Rear Satellite Speakers, $150]

If you’ve cut the cord, but still want to record shows from your OTA antenna, the TiVo Roamio OTA is purpose built just for you. Unfortunately, you’ll still need to pay a $15/month fee to use the service, but it’s by far the easiest way to record TV without the help of the cable company. [Refurb TiVo Roamio OTA HD DVR and Streaming Media Player, $40]

And if you want to watch your recordings (or even live TV) in another room, the TiVo Mini essentially mirrors the experience of your main TiVo anywhere else in the house. [Refurb TiVo Mini, $75]

You can never have too many Lightning cables, and three different lengths are all on sale today.

Featuring a customizable LED light show that pulses along with your music, the JBL Pulse Bluetooth speaker is a self-contained party. As long as you don’t mind a refurb, this is one of the best deals we’ve ever seen on it. [Refurb JBL Pulse Wireless Bluetooth Speaker with LED lights and NFC Pairing, $110]

Cooking rice probably lies somewhere between making a peanut butter sandwich and frying an egg on the kitchen difficulty continuum, but there’s something to be said for a $30 appliance that will do everything for you, including shutting off the heat as soon as your rice is ready. Plus, it can pull double duty as a food steamer, or even a slow cooker for the rest of your meals.

This model legitimately sells for $50 pretty consistently, and today’s price is the best Amazon’s ever listed. [Aroma Professional 20-Cup (Cooked) Cool Touch Rice Cooker, $30]

Preorders for the surprisingly decent fifth season of the Walking Dead are down to $30 today on Amazon, the lowest we’ve seen. If you order now, and the price dips any further prior to next week’s release, you’ll automatically get the best deal. [Preorder The Walking Dead: Season 5, $30]

If you’re in the market for a solid mid-range gaming headset on a budget, the Logitech G430 is down to $35 today, an all-time low. [Logitech G430 Surround Sound Gaming Headset with Dolby 7.1, $35]

Do you need 72 foam gliders? No. Actually, screw it, yes. Yes you do. [72-Pack of Foam Gliders, $6]

If you’re still brushing your teeth manually, this $29 Oral-B offers a ton of value as a starter electric toothbrush. The Oral-B Pro 1000 features a pressure sensor so you don’t damage your gums, a 30 second interval timer so all of the areas of your mouth get equal attention, and, critically, very cheap replacement brush heads. [Oral-B PRO 1000 Electric Rechargeable Power Toothbrush, $29 after $5 coupon]

You might not need a multimeter very often, but for $11, it’s not a bad idea to add one to your toolbox. [Etekcity Digital Multimeter/Voltmeter/Ammeter/Ohmmeter, $11 with code MM777OFF]

Smartphone camera lens attachments have been around for years, but I’ve always held off because I didn’t want to use a specific case on my phone, or pay for a new set of lenses every time I bought a new device. This solution from Mpow though seems to be a more versatile alternative, and looks like an awesome option at $12.

Unlike most lens add-ons, Mpow’s 3-in-1 kit uses a clamp to attach to your device, which means it should work with virtually any smartphone. Once that clip’s in place, you get to choose from three different lenses: Fisheye, wide angle, and macro. A lot of Amazon reviewers have uploaded sample photos, and they look pretty great to my eyes, particularly the close-up macros.

The whole system is very reasonably priced at $16, but today you can use promo code UFOEYB9B to save an extra $4. [Mpow 3-in-1 Supreme Smartphone Lens Kit, $12 with code UFOEYB9B]
