Starting at 12PM ET today, Amazon will be taking 50% off the PlayStation TV for a very limited time. These Lightning Deals only last a few hours at most, but many sell out within minutes, so you'll want to get your buying fingers ready.
We aren't sure if this means the PlayStation TV will be $40, the DualShock 3 bundle will be $50, or both, but it'll be an unprecedented deal no matter what.
The PlayStation TV was a questionable investment when it launched at $99, but Sony's new reasonably-priced PlayStation Now subscription plans have made it a far more valuable addition to your gaming fleet. Just note that you'll need a Vita memory card to store your games and content.
By the way, don't forget that Far Cry 4 is down to $30 on all platforms, today only.
