There's no need to wait for Black Friday if you want to buy an SSD for the holidays; I'm pretty confident that this is one of the best deals you're going to see for awhile.
The highly-rated Crucial M500 is selling for a ridiculously low $90 for 240GB right now, or $190 for 480GB. If you were planning on buying a new SSD, you shouldn't hesitate at these prices. If you weren't planning on buying one, you might want to reconsider.
Update: Newegg has advertised a PNY Optima 240GB drive for $75 on Black Friday, but reviews on that model are pretty lackluster. I'm not going to say don't wait for it, but in my opinion, the Crucial is probably worth the extra $15.
