You may have recently noticed that clicking on one of our links to Amazon now takes you to your local Amazon storefront, rather than Amazon US. We’re partnering with a third-party called GeniusLink (formerly GeoRiot) to run this experiment.
Example: A UK reader clicks on a link to the Dyson V6 Absolute on our US sites, and gets taken to that same vacuum on Amazon UK.
We’ve never officially supported or covered international deals, and we don’t have any plans to in the short term. This redirect solution is intended for readers of evergreen content, like this, who want to take advantage of one of our product recommendations, not one of our short term deals. To be clear, discounts basically never map between different Amazons.
