Dry shampoo has become a necessity these days (when used sparingly). Grab a 3-pack of Batiste, your favorite dry shampoo, starting at just $14. Just clip the $3 off coupon and make sure you never have greasy roots again.
The Big Sales
Joe’s New Balance is the premiere online outlet for...New Balance shoes, obviously. Right now, they’re having a Flash Sale, with footwear for men and women, for just $35. Running shoes, lifestyle shoes, classic shoes, and more are in this sale. Just add to cart and checkout, no code need.
H&M’s fast-fashion is even faster and cheaper, with their huge sale going on right now. Get an extra 25% off their entire sale section with the code 9119. It’s silly not to at least take a look.
Because H&M does tend to be on the buy now, throw out later track of fashion, look for the premium pieces, rather than the lower end ones. Go against your entire nature and change the drop down to show Price: Highest to Lowest. Trust me on this on. Basically everything is going to be under $100 anyway, but you’ll score silk or leather pieces at ungodly low prices.
Plus, this extra 25% off includes their home goods sale items.
When you’re looking for floral, but don’t want to go full Lily Pulitzer (never go full Lily Pulitzer), Ted Baker London is the brand you should try. Their take on classic British quaintness has an edge to it, and you can grab that style at Nordstrom Rack. They have a ton of stuff on sale including women’s and men’s clothing, women’s and men’s shoes, bags and accessories, and more.
Home Goods
If your board game cabinet has been gathering dust lately, Amazon’s running a big one day sale on family games and puzzles from Ravensburger and Melissa & Doug, with options available for every age group.
This particular sale indexes more heavily on puzzles than board games than some previous sales we’ve seen, but the selection is expansive. Just let us know in the comments what you picked out!
Tiger might not be the most well-known brand name here in the States, but the Japanese company has been making vacuum insulated flasks and rice cookers for nearly 100 years, and several of their wares are on sale in today’s Amazon Gold Box.
Inside, you’ll find several of their popular rice cookers, a few travel mugs, thermal soup cups, and more, all marked down to great low prices.
Yes, January isn’t even finished yet, but this year has been... a lot. Take a breather and make your house smell like an aromatherapy haven with this one-day Amazon sale on essential oils and diffusers from Ellia. Lavendar, lemongrass, and more scents can waft through your home while you close your eyes ignore the internet for a couple minutes. It’s worth it.
Amazon’s January fitness sales continue unabated today, with great prices on both an exercise bike and a rowing machine.
The bike is fairly barebones, utilizing a 40 pound flywheel and manual resistance system, rather than automated programs like you’d see at the gym. That said, it’s only $196 today, or about $50 less than usual.
The rowing machine is is even cheaper at $170 (an all-time low), and has a similarly spartan feature set, but it’s one of the best upper body workouts you can do at home.
On the one hand, deep fried food are bad for you. On the other hand, you can make your own Super Bowl fried chicken wings and wow your guests so much they cheer and throw a vat of Gatorade on you. I know what I’m choosing.
This T-Fal deep fryer normally sells for around $90, so you can concentrate on the health of your wallet today, and worry about your arteries later.
Packing cubes can make organizing clothes and toiletries for your next trip a little less hellish, and this highly-rated set of four from AmazonBasics is only $16 today, or about $4-$6 less than usual. I have a set of these, and absolutely love them.
Depending on where you live, you probably have at least a couple more weeks of winter-y weather. If you could use a little more warmth in your house, pick up one of these discounted Lasko space heaters from Home Depot today.
These are all a good $10 - $20 lower than their Amazon prices, but these discounts will only last through the end of the day, so don’t wait too long.
TECH
The Fire TV Stick and the Echo Dot go great together. Both have Alexa support, and if you can’t find your remote, you can still use your voice to control playback via the Dot. Amazon’s currently selling a bundle with both of them for $70, which isn’t as cheap as you might see during major sale events, but it’s still a $20 savings compared to buying them separately at full price.
SONOS pioneered the multi-room audio category, and now Alexa can do it too, but Aukey’s solution looks like a great, affordable alternative.
These AudioLink speakers feature dual 10W drivers and two passive subwoofers, so they should be plenty loud. They’re also IPX5 water resistant, so you could probably keep one outside. The real kicker though? They can run off a built-in battery for over seven hours on a charge, so you can rearrange them at will if you’re throwing a party.
They communicate with each other over a 5.8GHz Wi-Fi connection, so you won’t have to connect them to your home Wi-Fi or fiddle with a bunch of settings. If you live in a mansion, that could be a problem, but their ~100 foot range should be more than enough for most setups. Just use promo code AUKEYSA6 at checkout to save $18.
RAVPower’s newest battery pack is very similar to the reader-favorite Anker PowerCore Fusion, but with double the battery capacity (10,000mAh vs. 5,000mAh). For a battery pack that plugs directly into an AC outlet, that does mean that it might be more susceptible to falling out of worn out, loose-fitting outlets, but at $21, it wouldn’t hurt to try it out.
The real appeal of these things is that you only have to take one charger with you when you travel. This can act as your wall charger at night, and your battery pack during the day, all without the need to futz with microUSB cables to recharge it.
