I know you’ve been meaning to install a NAS, but life keeps getting in the way. Look, I understand. I’m not angry, I’m just disappointed. Thankfully, your procrastination may have saved you a bunch of cash.
Woot is marking down a QNAP TS-328-US QNAP 3-Bay model to just $170. For some context, it’s currently $50 cheaper than the price currently on Amazon right now. This is the cheapest we’ve ever seen, by a mile. So, if you have a few HDDs sitting around waiting for a purpose, this is the time.
Take control of your data, nerds.
As we all know, adding an SSD to your computer is one of the most worthwhile upgrades you perform on a computer, and this Kingston drive delivers. The 960GB model is currently marked down to a low $99, and this is first time I’ve seen this capacity sell for this price
VPNs have been in the news, and whether you want to get around video geoblocks to watch Love Island on British Netflix, circumvent proxy filters, or just keep prying eyes out of your browsing data while using sketchy public Wi-Fi, reader-favorite Private Internet Access has a deal to fit your needs.
Private Internet Access doesn’t do much in the way of discounting, but they offer exclusive pricing and packages just for our readers that you won’t find anywhere else. Here are your options, and what you’d pay if you bought the same plan elsewhere:
- One month for $6 | Usually $7
- One year for $35 | Usually $40
- Two years for $60 | Usually $70
- Three years for $90 | Not offered to the general public at all
If price has been the barrier to entry keeping you from better audio, Status Audio is offering our readers the best price we’ve ever seen on their cult-favorite CB-1 over-ear headphones. Use promo code INVENTORY50 to get them for $39 (plus $6 shipping).
Status is a direct-to-consumer headphone company, building great cans in proven form factors without the markup that comes with popular brands. In fact, there’s no branding here whatsoever.
The CB-1s are extremely comfortable out of the box, more so (in our opinion) than the ATH-M50X, MDR7506, SR60e, or V-MODA Crossfade Wireless, just to name a few.
The CB-1s have a (relatively) flat frequency response that’s great for listening to a variety of music or audio/video editing, with a wide sound stage in a closed back design. I get good isolation/seal with the updated pads. The elephant in the room here is that these are wired headphones, in the year 2019. For some of you, that may be a deal killer, but if not, they kindly include two detachable cables- coiled and straight, to ease the pain. They even smartly attach to the headphones with a twist lock.
We know from six years of Kinja Deals that great over-ear, closed back headphones for under $60 is no joke. Depending on what you’ve shelled out for in the past, they might even blow away your much more expensive pairs.
Apple’s new MacBook Air may be boring, but it’s a thin little workhorse with a bigger, better screen and a faster processor than the 12" MacBook, which might just hit your laptop Goldilocks zone. And unlike the MacBook Pro, it comes with TouchID (yay!) without the obnoxious Touch Bar (yay!).
If the price was scaring you away, Amazon (which as of a couple months ago officially sells Apple products) is taking $110 off the 128GB version, and $150 off the 256GB. For whatever it’s worth wife got one of these when it came out, and she loves it.
Anker’s Roav brand, the manufacturer of an incredibly popular dash cam, also makes some seriously smart car chargers. This one’s only $13 today with exclusive promo code ROAVKJF6.
The SmartCharge F0 is an FM transmitter that takes the Bluetooth signal from your phone, and rebroadcasts it the FM radio station of your choice, giving you truly wireless audio and handsfree calls in older vehicles that don’t have Bluetooth or even an AUX jack built in. And since this is an Anker brand, you also get two high speed USB charging ports.
If your computer or phone uses USB-C, it’s worth keeping an adapter around to turn it into an old-school USB 3.0 port for your legacy devices. This space gray aluminum adapter from Nonda is attractive, only $8 (down from the usual $10), about as small as these things can possibly be.
You like falling asleep listening to podcasts or white noise, but your partner doesn’t. How do you deal? DubsLabs Bedphones are extremely thin and wrapped in soft padding, making them ideal for falling asleep while wearing.
For a limited time, you can save 20% on both the wired (regularly $60) and wireless (regularly $100) models with promo code VDAY20.
Auto-Vox’s newest gadget may just be the most full-featured and advanced rear-view mirror...ever? The mirror itself is a nearly 10" touchscreen with a 1296p dash cam built into the front. It also connects via wire to a rear-mounted 720p camera that feeds a live, wide angle image to the mirror, and simultaneously records as well. And oh yeah, it has a lane departure warning system built in, because why not.
It’s priced at $320 on Amazon, but if you clip the $17 coupon and stack on code 5P24KYWL, it’ll drop to $240.
Strip lights are great for accenting cabinets, furniture, and outdoor areas, but the first place you should set them up is behind your TV. This 6.56' strip from Minger can glow in seven different colors, and even includes a mic to optionally pulse along with the ambient sounds coming out of your TV. Get it for just $8 with promo code GS7ONA3G; your eyes will thank you.
Given how many Lightning cables seem to wear out at the necks, it’s surprising that 90 degree cables aren’t more of a thing. You can grab two nylon braided cables for $11 from Aukey today with a $2 clippable coupon paired with promo code 229YIPFH, which would be a great price for two nylon-braided Lightning cables anyway, even without the unique connector.
If you have a wirelessly charging phone, you know that you can never have enough charging pads. This 10W charger from Anker is already marked down to $13 from its usual $22, and a $1 coupon on the page lets you save even more.
As someone who looks at product pages all day, I appreciate a well-made photo and when a company half-asses it... well, it’s super obvious. If you want people to actually buy your awesome product, make sure to have a good photo. This discounted AmazonBasics Portable Photo Studio can help.
Unlike other kits I’ve seen, this one doesn’t have those little lamps you’ll have to fiddle with. The lighting is embedded in the pop-up studio which makes it really easy to use. Just plug it in and bam, you’re ready to go.
(It’s ironic, though, that something that wants to help you make better product photos, offers up some truly awful ones for itself.)
The lights at the top bounce light around the box, overexposing the white walls, and creates a nice clean, white setting perfect for product photography. Better still, it has multiple openings to help you get different angles.
It’s a little pricey at $118, but I can almost guarantee you’ll make your money back when your products actually... well, you know... sell?

It might be too late to get it for Valentine’s Day, but there’s never a bad time to try Mike’s Hot Honey, which claims to be the world’s most versatile condiment. It’s got all of three ingredients: sugar, spice, and everything nice honey, chilies, and vinegar.
Right now on Amazon, a three-pack of bottles is a couple bucks less than usual, and the six pack is about $4 less than usual. Unfortunately, the single bottle isn’t on sale, but it’s honey, it basically lasts forever.
Before too long, the road salt will be gone, the constant precipitation will slow, and you won’t have an excuse to drive around a filthy looking car anymore. But with this $10 Turtle Wax kit from Walmart, you can make it look showroom shiny in your own driveway. That includes Zip Wax Car Wash and Wax, Express Carnauba Spray Wax, tire shine, and a can of protectant for about the same price as a single trip through the gas station auto wash.
It might not be one of your most-used tools, but this torque wrench set could certainly come in handy, and is a great buy at $22 with promo code 8SDNWIYE. It comes with a 1/2" drive and a 3/8" adapter, and it’ll click to warn you once you’ve reached your predetermined foot pounds of torque.
Whether from illness, exhaustion, or questionable decisions made the previous night, sometimes, you just can’t get out of bed. It’s okay, we’ve all been there! But you can at least pretend to be a functioning member of society while you’re laid up under the covers with this rolling over-bed table. It can hold your laptop if you’re working from home, or your scrambled eggs and OJ if you’re taking it easy.
Just use promo code COAVAS136 at checkout to get it for $30.
Our readers have bought thousands of Yi’s affordable home security cameras, and now, you can save on the brand new Yi Home Camera 3 for the first time ever.
Like previous models, this Yi camera can record to an SD card, Yi’s optional cloud service (six months is included for free), or both, and it allows you to check in with your phone any time you want. But the newest model adds some quality of life features like a magnetic base, AI-powered human detection, and the ability to alert you when it hears unusual noises.
Normally $60, promo code FEB4LOVE will knock it down to $52 today.
We’re basically halfway through February and if your ass isn’t sculpted yet, just give up. But don’t be sad, take this 15% off coupon on chocolates as a consolation prize.
While “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels,” chocolate is still pretty awesome. Oh and by the way, sitting at home and re-watching a few episodes of The Good Place is infinitely better than being in a stinky gym.
Today’s Best Lifestyle Deals
Have big, life-changing plans for Valentine’s Day? Today only, you can save on Hanes baby clothes thanks to Amazon’s Gold Box. There are over two pages of deals, which include cute little pants, cute little hoodies, and cute little dresses. (Omg, I miss my niece.)
Parents or cool-ass-uncles, these deals will stick around just for today or until sold out, so don’t neglect it or else this deal will grow to resent you and disappear forever.
Today’s Best Gaming Deals
I don’t know the first thing about parenting but if you don’t get your kid this, you’re a bad parent. I mean, look at it! It’s the Batmobile! Your kid would be the talk of the playground.
Recommended for ages 2 and older, this battery-powered model can go 2.5 mph and it’s super cheap right now, too. It’s about $20 less than what’s currently on Amazon, so if you skip this deal. you’re a real... Joker.
Howdy, partner. Red Dead Redemption 2 hasn’t had any trouble selling copies, so if you’ve been waiting for months for a decent discount, it’s finally down to $40 today on both PS4 and Xbox One. That’s practically a robbery.
Marvel’s Spider-Man features all the web-slinging fun you could want in an open world Spider-Man game, and it’s back down to $40 today on Amazon, a match for the deal we saw around the holidays. And yes, it has the Sam Raimi suit now.
These toy base plates, which are definitely not made by a toy company you’re familiar with, work with “all leading building brick brands,” whatever those might be. They’re also double the thickness of the base plates built by those leading building brick brands, so they won’t warp and cause major earthquake-style damage to your creations when you need to pick them up and move them.
Get eight plates in four different colors for just $22 today, or roughly $10 less than usual.
Sphero’s remote-controlled BB-8 droid was one of the coolest toys ever made when it first came out, and it’s only gotten better over time through software updates. Today at Woot, you can buy your own for 55 portions dollars, one of the best prices we’ve seen.
Today, Amazon wants to remind you of the consequences of your Valentine’s Day extracurricular activities. Case and point, this Gold Box on toys for kids.
These Brickyard Building Blocks can help your tot play their way into an engineering career... or something. Regardless, these are some of the best prices we’ve seen on these particular products.
So if you’re in the market to buy some children’s toys, this is the time to buy.
Still have a 2DS or 3DS kicking around? Nintendo’s official AC adapter doesn’t see many discounts, but it’s on sale for $7 right now (down from $9) on Amazon, albeit as an add-on item. All I can say, as a Switch owner, is thank heavens for USB-C.
Short Nintendo Switch cases (where you store the Switch with the Joy-Con detached to save space) are nearly dead, but not 20 minutes after I wrote their obituary, a reader pointed out one option that I’d missed. And it just so happens to be on sale for $10 right now, down from the usual $18.

Deals You May Have Missed
It might not be as sexy as the new, FaceID-equipped iPad Pros, but the previous generation model is still an incredibly capable tablet that could potentially be your primary computer, and the 64GB model is down to $500 at Amazon right now. That’s $150 less than Apple currently charges, and $300 less than the equivalent, current-gen 11" version.
If you take your home WiFi coverage seriously, Netgear’s Orbi mesh routers are some of the best you can buy, and Amazon’s running a great deal on their WiFi router and 2 satellite (or RBK33) permutation.
This Reader Favorite is now selling for just $200 (after you clip the coupon) matching its lowest price ever.
Your headphones are wireless now. Great! The problem is that gym equipment, seat back entertainment screens, and your Nintendo Switch are not. That’s where this gadget comes in.
Twelve South’s AirFly connects to your AirPods (or any wireless headphones), then plugs into the 3.5mm jack you’re trying to listen to, transmitting low latency audio without the use of wires. Normally $40, it’s on sale today for an all-time low $34. It’s not the only device out there that does this, and even on sale, it’s not the cheapest, but Twelve South is known for high quality, intuitive products and great support.
External hard drives are pretty fragile things, so if you’re a bit of a klutz, it might be worth springing for Silicon Power’s durable drives. The 2TB model is down to $60 today, which is the best price we’ve ever seen on a drive with IPX4 water resistance and military-grade shockproofing.
Dyson’s eBay outlet is always a great place to save on Dyson products, but for a limited time, you can save an extra 20% on the already-discounted prices with promo code JUST4DYSON, including vacuums, fans, and hair dryers.
They sell a lot of new stuff on eBay, but the best deals are on the refurbs. Either way, they’re sold directly by Dyson; this isn’t a sketchy third party situation.
I purchased the Dyson AM09 Hot + Cool Fan Heater during their last refurbished sale, and it’s still going. (It’s actually keeping me warm right now.)
This sale ends on Sunday, but stock is limited, so act fast.
When you think of smart lighting, you probably think of special lamps and bulbs. But Belkin’s WeMo dimmer switch adds a brain to pretty much any light fixture in your home, including ceiling lights.
Priced today at an all-time low $50, the switch replaces a regular dimmer light switch installed in your home, and uses Wi-Fi to control and dim your lights from your phone, or via your favorite voice assistant. You can even schedule it to automatically turn off at night, or use it to simulate people being home when you’re away to ward off ne’er-do-wells. Best of all, there’s no hub required; it talks directly to your router.
It was only a matter of time until Amazon set its sights on the foam mattress-in-a-box industry, and now, its new AmazonBasics mattresses are on sale for the best price ever...and they were pretty affordable to begin with.
A queen will only set you back $207, and the kings are going for $270, which is pretty incredible considering they’re built with three layers of foam, and ship for free. Smaller sizes are available as well.
Controlling Philips Hue lights with your voice or your phone is great, but sometimes, a good old fashioned light switch is the right tool for the job. The official Hue Smart Dimmer switch can be programmed to control as many as 10 lights at once, and the dimming buttons can control their brightness, rather than just turning them on and off. Even at its usual $25, it’s a great buy, but you should definitely grab it for $20.
You need these amazing Utopia Kitchen towels. Do you know why I know they’re good? Jolie Kerr digs ‘em. Here’s what she had to say:
Not only do they actually dry dishes, they’re fast-drying — both when in use and in laundering situations — and not overly bulky, making it easy to store a big stack of them. They also make for great cleaning rags when they get to the point of looking a bit too ratty for kitchen use.
Better still, they are currently marked down to their lowest price in over a year.
We’re not even to the All-Star break yet, but NBA 2K19 is already on sale for $30 on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. The microtransactions are icky, I know, but there are plenty of game modes that don’t use them, and the actual basketball simulation part is still incredibly well done, even if the extraneous features are not. Take over a team and try to stand up to the vile Warriors? Tank for a higher draft pick? Trade Kristaps for a Subway Sub Club card with four stamps on in it? The choice is yours.
You should definitely buy and watch the first three seasons of Rick and Morty for an all-time low $50 (complete with Blu-ray discs and digital copies). Just don’t, like, become one of those Rick and Morty Fans. Just enjoy the show quietly in your own home, that’s enough!
If you’re getting bored of trading wheat and sheep back and forth, Game of Thrones Catan is a completely new take on the game:
The Brothers of the Night’s Watch recognize you as a natural leader as you struggle for promotion within their ranks. You hope to gain recognition by improving infrastructure in the area south of the Wall known as the Gift. Drawing sustenance from this unforgiving landscape offers enough challenges, but you must also man and defend the Wall against the onslaught of Wildlings fighting their way into Westeros to escape the horrors that awaken in the North. Build, defend, and rise above your brothers to become the new Lord Commander. But be wary—the north holds many dangers, and winter is coming.
In case it wasn’t clear, the board has an actual, physical wall. How cool is that? $57 is within a few bucks of the best price we’ve seen, so get this deal before its watch comes to an end.
RGB lighting. 7.1 surround sound. Wired and wireless modes. Multi-source audio mixing. Shall I go on? The Logitech G933 has basically every feature you could ever want in a gaming headset, and it’s on sale for $110 today. It was cheaper around the holidays (around $100, with one short-lived dip to $95), but by any other measure, this is a good price.
The PlayStation Classic is missing a lot of critical games, but it seems like it’s going to be relatively straightforward to add some yourself. And even if you don’t bother hacking it, there’s still plenty worthwhile pre-loaded games to keep you entertained, even if there’s no Crash Bandicoot or Tomb Raider or Tony Hawk.
$100 is a lot to ask, but Walmart just discounted the PlayStation Classic to $40, easily the best price we’ve seen to date.
If you don’t have an Instant Pot yet, it’s time to give in and jump on the bandwagon. It cooks meals incredibly quickly, but it can also double as a slow cooker, and even makes terrific rice.
The 8 qt. model is designed for families, and it’s marked down to the same price as the standard 6 qt. model today. That’s not an all-time low, but it’s about $20-$40 less than the going rate over the last few months.
It comes with everything you need to get started, but you may want to invest in some extra accessories once you learn the ropes.
Even if you aren’t usually into anime, it’s worth giving Cowboy Bebop a try, especially when you can get the entire series for a mere $10. This deal is through Amazon’s digital video storefront, and includes all 26 episodes in HD, which normally sell for $3 each.
Azul was Board Game Geek’s #1 most played board game last summer, and cracked our readers’ favorite video game list, and you can add it to your own collection for $27 from Amazon. That’s a new all-time low, but you don’t really need much of an excuse to buy this one.
Azul was designed by the world famous, award winning game author Michael Riesling. Azul captures the beautiful aesthetics of Moorish art in a contemporary board game. Players compete as artisans decorating the walls of the royal Palace of Dvora. By carefully drafting the correct Quantity and style of tiles, the most clever of artisans plan ahead to maximize the beauty of their work (not to mention their scores!) while ensuring they wasted no supplies in the process.
Seriously, this game is gorgeous, and just as importantly, it feels great to play.
If you’re one of the few who have not yet experienced the magic of the Secret Aardvark sauce, this put-it-on anything sauce will change your life. And right now, Amazon has a case of 12 for $60. That’s $15 off it’s regular price.
Our own Zach Custer recently sang its praises. And if his description doesn’t convince you... well bud, I don’t know what to tell you.
The Switch Pro controller isn’t just one of the best ways to control your Nintendo Switch, it might be one of the best gamepads ever made, period. If you have a Switch and still haven’t picked one up, $57 is about the same price we were seeing around the holidays. It’s not a massive discount from its usual $69, but we rarely see it drop below $64. I’m not a Smash pro or anything, but I really enjoy using it for Smash, for what it’s worth.
Hugo Award-winning science fiction author N. K. Jemisin collected nearly two dozen of her short stories into a compendium that came out late last year, and you can download a copy of How Long ‘til Black Future Month? to your Kindle today for just $5.
N. K. Jemisin is one of the most powerful and acclaimed authors of our time. In the first collection of her evocative short fiction, which includes never-before-seen stories, Jemisin equally challenges and delights readers with thought-provoking narratives of destruction, rebirth, and redemption.
Spirits haunt the flooded streets of New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. In a parallel universe, a utopian society watches our world, trying to learn from our mistakes. A black mother in the Jim Crow South must save her daughter from a fey offering impossible promises. And in the Hugo award-nominated short story “The City Born Great,” a young street kid fights to give birth to an old metropolis’s soul.
With its modular design, free shipping in regular-sized-boxes, and attractive design, Burrow sits on the throne of the direct-to-consumer sofa industry, and you can score a rare deal on the couch (or chair, or ottoman) of your choice during the company’s President’s Day sale.
For a limited time, promo code George will get you a sizable discount at checkout, which scales up the more you spend:
- $75 off a $500+ order
- $150 off a $1,000+ order
- $225 off a $1,400+ order
- $300 off a $1,750+ order
- $400 off a $2,000+ order
- $500 off a $2,500+ order.
A loveseat, any couch, or a chair paired with an ottoman will get you over the minimum here. As always, you get to pick your fabric, your leg color, and even the height of your arms, and you also get a 30 day risk free trial, with a simple return process if you don’t like it.
Unless you really need the iPad Pro (and you almost definitely do not), the standard, vanilla 2018 iPad is a terrific tablet for both consuming and creating media. It even works with the Apple Pencil, the first non-Pro iPad to do so.

While we saw some better deals on these around Black Friday (if you were quick enough to snag them), $250 for 32GB and $330 for 128GB are still terrific prices. If you ask me, it’s worth buying one of these for the express purpose of playing Civilization VI on the go.
J.Crew is no stranger to extra discounts on sale items, but for today only, they’re marking down a whole lot of full-priced styles. All shoppers get 30% off these select items with code COFFEE. The time to stock up on classic sweaters, coats, button-downs, accessories, and more is now.
Spring’s not quite here yet, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying the great outdoors. All the more reason to get some fresh air sooner rather than later: REI is taking up to 50% off a wide range of camping gear, outerwear, winter boots, and other footwear.
If you want to stack even more savings, REI Outlet is running a similarly huge sale as well. A lot of items are only available in limited colors or sizes, but you can score some seriously great deals there. Gather your gear of choice quickly, though; like the cold, this sale won’t last much longer.
Grab a Nike Breathe Hyper Dry tee for just $24, Patagonia’s eco-friendly Silent Down jacket, a new pair of premium Smartwool socks, a fan-driven BioLite camp stove, or check out all the deals from these popular brands.

That’s really just the tip of the iceberg though. There are thousands of deals from hundreds of brands, and you can find them all here.
15 Pound 60"x 80" Weighted Blanket | $79 | Amazon | Promo code 24UGS26D
20 Pound 60"x 80" Weighted Blanket | $85 | Amazon | Promo code K9B82YE6
I’m not sure if you’re aware, but it’s cold as hell outside, and I can’t think of a better time for a weighted blanket. In addition to keeping you warm, a weighted blanket can work wonders for your anxiety, and several different models are on sale today for the first time since the holiday shopping season, including a beefy 20 pounder for just $85. Just be sure to note the promo codes.
Personally, I want my weighted blankets to be capable of breaking ribs, but the general recommendation is 10% of your body weight. Not to stress you out, but we wouldn’t expect this deal to last for long.
Winter is all about layers on layers on layers — and Patagonia has vests, puffers, pullovers, and zip-ups galore, all of which are great for wearing alone on warmer days or all at once when it’s an arctic tundra outside. Right now, the winterwear purveyors are majorly marking down their Web Specials section for a limited time. So it would behoove you to pile everything you can into your cart ASAP, so you can pile everything onto yourself during the remaining cold months ahead.
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, which means lots of deals on lingerie and pajamas. The latest retailer to mark down various underpinnings is Urban Outfitters, which has pledged up to 40% off their range bras, underwear, bodysuits, in addition to a whole lot of loungewear — some of which looks to me like just regular clothes I would wear outside. This sale will only last for a limited time, so go ahead and sift through its many varied offerings ASAP.
We’re big fans of Dallas-based Breda’s minimalist timepieces, and at about $50-$60, they’d make a great Valentine’s Day gift. For a limited time, use promo code KINJA25 to save 25% on the Valor and Belmont styles found on this page, plus free two day shipping so you’ll be sure to get it in time.
Ranging in price from $95 to upwards of $150, Glerups are certainly a splurge, but that didn’t stop them from being swiftly selected as our readers’ favorite slipper a while back. If you’ve been considering picking up a pair for yourself since that fateful Co-op, the wait has been worth it. Right now, the camp-sole versions of both the closed-back shoe and boot styles are on sale for $109 and $125, respectively, at Huckberry.
The rubber soles on these wooly slippers mean you won’t have to change shoes if you want to run outside to pick up the paper or grab the mail, or heck, just wear ’em out. No one would blame you; Glerups are just that comfortable.
