If your current phone has seen better days, Verizon’s running a pretty incredible deal on top-of-the-line handsets right now, with relatively few strings attached.
For a limited time, you can get an iPhone 7 for just $10/month for 24 months (add $5 for each additional storage tier, and for the 7 Plus). Same goes for the Google Pixel and the Galaxy S7. If you have an eligible phone to trade in (basically, a 2015 or newer flagship), you can even get them for free, but you don’t need a trade-in to get the discounts.
Let’s take the 32GB iPhone 7, as an example. You’ll pay $10 over 24 months, and own the phone outright at the end for $240. If you bought it upfront today, it’d cost you $650. Obviously, you’ll need to maintain Verizon service in good standing over that two year period, as the discount is paid out over time as a monthly bill credit, but otherwise, there really aren’t any catches here. This isn’t even one of those switcher promotions; current customers are also eligible for the same discounts.
My mom and sister are on a Verizon shared plan with me, and they both upgraded from their old iPhones earlier today, despite consistent (and to me, baffling) resistance over the past few months to do so. If they can upgrade, so can you.
