Not that United By Blue doesn’t make a great backpack, but everyone at Outpost who didn’t show up early to grab one of their amazing tote bags was pretty disappointed.
United By Blue always looked great to us from a distance, but once we went hands on with their gear they immediately became one of our favorite outdoor brands. Their Summit Tote is water repellant, convertible between backpack and tote modes, has ample organizational features and a padded laptop compartment and a water bottle sleeve, features great handles and straps, looks great, and packs down mostly flat.
We want a tote to be easily forgotten at the bottom of a carry-on bag, while having ample storage and great carryability, and those ticked boxes are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the Summit’s feature set. It’s easily our new favorite tote.
