Uniqlo's Newest LifeWear Collection Features the Resort Stylings of Bottega Veneta's Tomas Maier

The Uniqlo LifeWear line was created to make beautiful, simple wardrobe staples and bring them to the masses. With Uniqlo’s newest partnership with Tomas Maier, there’s an additional resort vibe that feels perfect for this time of year.

The collection, which launched last night on Uniqlo’s site and will be in-store today, features all the makings of a resort vacation packing list. Flowy cotton dresses next to athletic swimwear, plus layerable tees and polos. It’s a simple approach to LifeWear’s core values, keeping the everyday person in mind while dressing better.

In a press release, Maier described the collection as “Designed to work in many different ways. Beach attire can turn into lounge wear, casual cover-ups paired with polo shirts can easily be worn in town - this is the concept of my brand.”

The line feature deep navys, khaki greens, and bright pops of orange, plus Maier’s eponymous brand’s classic palm tree motif splashed across tees, swim trunks, and dresses.

“Things work in many ways,” Maier said. “Even if bought for a special trip or occasion the customer will soon discover these garments adapt to a year-round life.”
