Several weeks ago, we posted a deal on a notebook that you could erase up to five times by putting it in the microwave. Needless to say, reactions were mixed.

But some of you pointed out that the same company had a new notebook that could be erased basically indefinitely with nothing but a damp cloth, and that model is cheaper than ever today.

The Rocketbook Everlast does carry over the Wave’s smart symbols, a series of seven glyphs on the bottom of each page that you can cross out with a pen. Once you scan the page with Rocketbook’s app, those symbols tell the app where to send the page. Cross out the horseshoe and scan the page with the app, and it’ll automatically upload to, say, Evernote. Draw an X through the star, and it’ll go to Google Drive. You can specify what each of these symbols do in the app, so it’s easy to customize the notebook for your workflow.

The scanning features are important, because the Everlast isn’t meant to keep your notes indefinitely. Once you fill up the 32 pages with a Pilot Frixion pen (one is included), you can just grab a wet cloth, and wipe the whole thing clean to start again.

This industrial level IR thermometer can read temperatures ranging from -58° F to 1,022° F. But I normally use mine for much simpler things, like to fact check my oven temperature, check for air leaks, or really just play around with. I was in the camp of people who felt like aromatherapy diffusers were glorified Glade plug-ins. Amazon’s running a Marvel digital comic sale that’s bigger than any Avengers movie today, with literally thousands of titles marked down to just a few bucks, in most cases. You’ll find everything from the Guardians of the Galaxy to Darth Vader to Deadpool to Captain America in there, and every hero in between, so there’s never been a better time to stock your digital shelves.

The selection is overwhelming (400 Amazon pages, or over 6,000 titles!), so we’ll drop a few safe bets below, but definitely leave your own suggestions in the comments.

If you own a 4K Blu-ray player (or an Xbox One S), you can watch one of the most famous films of all-time at over 4,000 pixels wide. I’m not sure how well E.T.’s the special effects will hold up with that kind of detail, but this price is an all-time low. You also get a regular Blu-ray, a digital copy, and a bunch of bonus features.

Get Out was a lot more than a typical horror movie, so even if you aren’t typically a fan of the genre, you should absolutely add it to your Blu-ray collection for $10. You also get a digital copy, and even an alternate ending.

If you’ve entertained any stray thoughts about buying PlayStation VR, today’s the day you want to do it.

$300 gets you the headset and the PS4 camera (though unlike the last time this deal ran, I don’t think you get any bundled games) with promo code PSVRSAVE, while supplies last. For reference, the headset by itself still sells for $349, so this really is an fantastic deal.

Humble’s second Very Positive Bundle is built around one core concept, and it’s a good one: Positive user reviews on Steam. All eight games here boast at least 88% positive ratings from players, so there isn’t a stinker in the bunch, even if you may not have heard of every title.

We’ve been (constantly) playing with SnapDice for a few weeks now. The “game” combines metal dice with a wooden tray that contains a powerful magnet, with a focus on materials and design. Fidget spinners and fidget boxes are old news. The infinity cube is the new gadget to keep your hands busy. It’s sort of like a Rubik’s cube that collapses into a flat rectangle and can be folded in an infinite number of combinations. Like its predecessors, it’s small enough to fidget away in one hand and continue working with the other.

This isn’t a deal per se, but given Nintendo’s track record of keeping hardware in stock, you may want to buy the New 3DS XL Samus Edition now, while it’s available.
