BEST TECH DEALS
Chrome OS laptop devotees, your time has come. Google’s most powerful, flagship Pixelbook is currently selling for its lowest price ever on Amazon.
Inside this beautifully designed 2-in-1 package, you’ll find plenty of power: an i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. (Yeah, pretty overkill for web and Android apps.)
Despite the impressive specs, this laptop isn’t for everyone. Chrome OS remains a niche operating system. But for those who understand the limitations and, more importantly, the benefits of the no-viruses-ever Chrome OS, this is the deal you’ve been waiting for.
At $1,324, it’s selling for even lower than on Black Friday.
I don’t know why but big ass TVs make people happy. And if I know anything about the science of happiness (which I assure you, I do not), this 70-inch RCA smart TV is going to make some of you really happy.
Will it look as good as Samsung’s QLED sets? Of course not. Will it have the same inky, deep blacks as LG’s OLEDs? Keep dreaming.
But if size is your most important consideration, it’s hard to pass up a 70-inch screen, with 4K and built-in streaming apps, for $550.
Many gamers scoff at the idea of a pre-built gaming rig, let alone a gaming laptop. So this ROG Zephyrus GX501 is bound to get more than a few toxic nerds riled up.
The ROG Zephyrus GX501, I’ll admit, is a ridiculously named device. Its discounted $2,500 price tag is bound to receive the peanut gallery’s collective scorn. And yes, you could build a desktop with the same kind of horsepower (GeForce GTX 1080 graphics, Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD) for far less.
However, you wouldn’t have to choose between power or portability with the GX501. You could bring it to a friend’s and play. Since I’ve always viewed gaming a social activity, this is super enticing. Imagine giving each of your friends a high five after a particularly grueling competitive match. (I, for one, think it’s one of nerdom’s true joys.)
Better still, this build is $200 less than the average price. If you’re into LAN parties as much as I am, this is a great deal. Just make sure to bring your power brick.
It’s like Amazon knew that you were considering getting a drone for someone on your gift list, because today they discounted a couple to new all-time price lows.
The Tenergy TDR Phoenix Mini RC Quadcopter Drone, $24, is designed to be easy for kids and other beginners to fly. It features auto hovering to prevent crashes even when you let go of the joystick, 6-axis gyro for quick stabilization, and a 720p camera because what is even the point of a drone of you can’t see what it sees? There’s also a sweet 1-button 360° roll function so it looks like you know how to do tricks. Or, a trick.
The Tenergy TDR Robin Pro FPV Drone, $70, does all that and more. Additional features include real-time photo and video transmission, auto return to help a lost drone find its way home, and orbit video, which is sort of a Matrixy steady circular filming technique. It also comes with a spare battery for extended flight time.
I don’t mean to drone on and on here, so, in summary: These are cool little machines, and solid prices.
Massdrop, land of a thousand mechanical keyboard deals, has a particularly good offer available on the Gamdias Hermes M3 right now. You can grab the keyboard for just $59 (albeit not shipping until early January), compared to $95 elsewhere.
The Hermes M3 features brown mechanical switches, onboard profile storage, and full RGB backlighting; all the key features you’d want are here. It also eschews the number pad for a more compact, borderless design, and its low profile keycaps are a nice reprieve from traditional mechanical boards, without going full chiclet like a laptop.
These discounted and powerful gaming computers from CyberPower PC and HP can help kick off your burgeoning eSports career. (Let’s go NYXL!)
Both $1,700 CyberPower PC rigs are fully specced out, offering 16GB of RAM, and the powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20 series graphics cards.
But, of course, there are a few key differences that go beyond the keyboard and the case. The SLC10200CPG offers an i9, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, and a 1TB SSD, while the GXiVR8080A3 rocks an i7, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080, and 240GB SSD and 1TB HD for storage. Also, the former doesn’t ship with a WiFi card but that may be less of a priority for hardliners who swear by the ethernet cable.
And the $1,500 OMEN model offers the still-capable GTX 1080 graphics card, as well as a i7 processor, 256 GB SSD and 1 TB hard drive for storage and 16 GB RAM. This current markdown is the lowest we’ve ever seen, and $80 off average price.
Solid State Drives, like this 512GB Intel 545s, can do more for performance than, say, a new CPU or more RAM. And for $55, there is no reason to hesitate.
This particular 2.5-inch model is currently marked down to an all-time low, or $40 off what’s currently on Amazon. And even if you already have an SSD-powered PC, you can build reliable, fast external drive for cheap—so go ahead and treat yourself.
$10 would be a good price for a barebones HDTV bias light that you have to get up off the couch to control. But today, that gets you a strip with a built-in microphone to bounce along with ambient music, and even Bluetooth app control. I have a similar set from the same company behind my TV, and it works great. Just use promo code 3CC78KNJ at checkout to get the deal.
With its 24 hour battery life, impressive bass, and crystal clear sound quality, the Anker SoundCore has long been our readers’ favorite affordable Bluetooth speaker, and its water-resistant successor is down to $30 today, or $10 less than usual.
The SoundCore 2 still includes dual drivers and that amazing 24 hour battery; the only real differences are a slightly tweaked design and the aforementioned water resistance. That means you can take it to the pool, the beach, or even the shower without fear.
We, the trackball enthusiasts, are a special breed. You may point and stare at our ergonomically sculpted peripherals, but we’re too busy getting stuff done to care.
It took nearly a decade for Logitech to update its trackball line and with the MX Ergo, I got everything I wanted. It’s super comfortable, can tilt 20 degrees for a more natural hand position, and it’ll last 4 months on a single charge.
It’s currently $76 on Amazon, a few pennies off from the lowest price we’ve ever seen. And while it’s not as sexy as the MX Master 2S, it won out as my favorite office accessory.
Noise canceling headphones, like the Sony WH-1000xm3 or Bose QuietComfort 35, come with many useful features, superb audio quality and a restrictive price tag. This alternative from Sennheiser offers great sound and a bare-bones noise canceling experience for less than half the price of the competition.
These cans leave out a lot of the bell and whistles of the competition, such as touch controls and a voice-assistant dedicated button. But they deliver what most people care about most: price and sound quality. And right now, the black version is available at the same price offered on Black Friday: $130.
Anker’s entry-level truly wireless headphones are available for just $45 today, the lowest price we’ve ever seen.
Like the Liberty headphones before it, the Liberty Lites will run for 3.5 hours on a single charge. The Lite’s charging case only holds an extra 9 hours worth of battery, vs. 24 hours for the Liberty, and 48 for the Liberty+. Still, that’s enough juice for an entire workday or a flight from New York to Los Angeles.
We’ve seen power cubes with more ports and outlets from other manufacturers, but Anker’s take on the category has a few nice touches. While it leaves one side of the cube empty, it does come with adhesive pads that let you mount it on a wall or underneath a desk. It normally sells for $26, but you can get it for just $20 today — the cheapest it’s been.
Tile is the handy device for anyone who can’t stop losing their things, and you can get four Tile trackers (two Sport and two Style) for $50 today on QVC.
Use Tile app on your phone to ping lost items, such as keys and wallets, over Bluetooth and cause them to beep until you find what you’re looking for.
Better still, this price is $25 less than what we usually see.
Anker makes just about every capacity of PowerCore battery pack imaginable, but the company’s 10,000mAh packs have always been among their most popular. And now, just in time for the holidays, they squeezed that much juice into a shockingly small new package.
The PowerCore 10000 Redux is only 4.1” x 2" x 1", and weighs only 6.6 ounces, making it the smallest 10,000mAh battery pack we’ve ever seen. And of course, Anker’s PowerIQ technology is built in, meaning you’ll get the fastest possible charging speed no matter what you plug in. There’s even a special trickle charge mode for low-draw devices like Bluetooth headphones, which often don’t draw enough power to keep USB battery packs “awake.”
The Redux only just came out, and retails for $34, but it’s marked down to $26 this week, making it a perfect stocking stuffer idea.
At a certain point, the benefits of upsizing your monitor still start to be overshadowed by the sheer amount of desk real estate you lose. But 27" is not that point, and the Dell UltraSharp 27" LED Monitor is a good buy at $329 today at Amazon, if you’ve been jonesing for more screen space.
It’s $5 more expensive than it was on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but if anyone on your shopping list (yourself included) would like an Alexa-enabled, incredible-sounding Sonos One speaker, they’re $20 off right now, which is the second best deal we’ve ever seen. Or, you can buy two and save $50, which is a match for Black Friday.
Unlike Black Friday though, that $20 discount is also valid on the new, limited-edition HAY Sonos Ones. They’re priced $30 higher than black and white, even on sale, but you get to pick from five designer colors.
The $100 Connect:Amp discount also made a comeback. This device basically turns any unpowered speaker pair into a Sonos smart speaker, compatible with streaming services and multi-room audio.
iOttie’s been turning out ultra-popular smartphone dash mounts for years, and its new flagship, the iOttie Easy One Touch 4, is down to $17 today, from the usual $25.
You see that giant button on the back of the One Touch’s cradle? Once you put your phone in place and press down, that button will snap the sides of the cradle shut, holding your phone in place with minimal effort. You can also extend and tilt the mount’s arm, meaning you can find the right angle no matter how your dashboard is arranged.
Samsung’s U3-rated microSD cards are some of the fastest and most popular options out there—I have the 128GB model in my own Nintendo Switch—and all four sizes are down to all-time low prices today on Amazon.
The 32GB card is down to a laughably cheap $6, the 64GB just dropped to $11, and the 128GB went from $25 to $20. The ever-so-slightly-slower SanDisk Ultra 128GB is also down to a new all-time low of $18, which is even cheaper than we saw on Black Friday.
If you need extra space for your action cam, smartphone, tablet, Switch, or anything else, these are extremely fast cards, and extremely good deals.
- Samsung 32GB MicroSD Card | $6 | Amazon
Anker’s newest PowerPort wall charger is its smallest one yet, and you can grab two of them for just $13 on Amazon today with promo code ANKERWBF.
The PowerPort Mini isn’t much bigger than the power brick that came with your iPhone, but it includes folding plugs, two ports, and 12W of power rather than just 5W. Literally everything about it is better.
That power is split between the two ports, so while it can charge an iPad at full speed if it’s the only thing plugged in, it’ll drop down to half speed if you plugged in a second device. But even so, that’s perfectly fine for overnight charging, and this thing is small enough to fit in any bag.
Amazon sells a ton of affordable tech essentials under its AmazonBasics brand, and dozens of them (including some surprises) are on sale right now.
Your basic essentials like rechargeable AA batteries, USB-C cables, and Velcro cable ties are here, as you’d expect, but did you know AmazonBasics has a UPS power supply? An LED mouse pad? A cool retractable Lightning cable? Yeah, me either. Be sure to head over to Amazon to see all of the deals; chances are there’s something you can use.
VPNs have been in the news, and whether you want to get around video geoblocks, circumvent proxy filters, or just keep prying eyes out of your browsing data while using sketchy public Wi-Fi, reader-favorite Private Internet Access has a deal to fit your needs.
Private Internet Access doesn’t do much in the way of discounting, but they offer exclusive pricing and packages just for our readers that you won’t find anywhere else. Here are your options, and what you’d pay if you bought the same plan elsewhere:
- One month for $6 | Usually $7
- One year for $35 | Usually $40
- Three years for $90 | Not offered to the general public at all
These deals are only for our readers, but we aren’t sure how long they’ll be available, so go ahead and sign up while you can.
BEST HOME DEALS
Cold brew coffee is basically the only kind of coffee I like, and when there wasn’t a Starbucks readily available, I’d been using the popular Takeya cold brew pitcher for over a year to make it at home. That all changed when my mother-in-law got me OXO’s alternative last Christmas, and it quickly became one of my favorite possessions.
The Takeya is fine. Good, even, especially for under $20. But at Shane’s recommendation, I wanted to try the OXO, and wow is it stellar. The video above tells you everything you need to know about how it works, but I promise you that the coffee you get after 24 hours of steeping is potent, delicious, and and can easily last you over a week, even if you don’t dilute it as much as OXO recommends.
Its MSRP is $50, and as an OXO product, that’s about what you’ll typically pay. Right now though, you can get it for $42. It didn’t even go on sale during Black Friday, so you know this is rare.
Everyone eats, so you can’t go wrong with giving even the most insignificant acquaintance a food gift basket for the holidays. It’s an easy present (that doesn’t even require wrapping), especially considering Target is taking 20% off all food gift baskets through December 7. And there’s truly a basket for all palates: For instance, chocolate lovers will melt over this Godiva tower, caffeine addicts will be abuzz with delight thanks to this coffee-themed haul, and giftees with the munchies will be stoked about this basket o’ snacks. Plus, all of the foods included in the baskets seem to be nonperishable, so nothing will be stale by the time Santa arrives. A very delicious deal indeed.
Baking a cool cake has never been easier than it is with a bundt. The only bundt con — the fact that a hole occupies the middle of your cake instead of, uh, more cake — if far outweighed by the pros, which include super easy slicing and specials pans for creating impressive designs without any extra effort at all.
This $24 Nordic Ware Jubilee Bundt Pan is an especially inexpensive, yet aesthetically pleasing example of one such tool. Simply pour your batter into the mold, bake, then flip over once the cake is cooled, as you would do with any other cake pan. Voila! You’re a geometric bundt cake-baking artist.
I know, I know. This deal is the wurst. Basically, in a very late capitalist maneuver, Johnsonville made a Sizzling Sausage Grill that fits only the brand’s own brats. By no means is this a device your kitchen needs, but for reasons we can’t quite understand ourselves, it’s a device that the whole team here at The Inventory wants, now that it’s been brat to our attention.
Maybe it’s the prospect of evenly crisped links. Or the lack of potential splatter. Or the built-in temperature probe that alerts you the moment your sausages are fully cooked. Or maybe, it’s just that this thing is so damn ridiculous, and also sausages are so damn good, that it’s worth $61 (down from $80) simply to make this bizarre tool a part your grilling arsenal. Anyway, here’s the piping hot link to buy, should you so choose:
If you’re ultra Type A, you may have run into a holiday dilemma regarding stockings this year: You’ve already got all the stuff to fill them, so you want to go ahead and do that to mark one more thing off your checklist, but you tried and the stockings got too heavy to stay on the mantel with traditional hooks. Sure, you could take them down once they’re stuffed, but they’re part of your festive decor!
This Metal Christmas Stocking Holder Stand is the answer to your problem. It holds up to six stockings, and Walmart will even personalize it for free. I wouldn’t try loading it up if your stockings are full of bricks or something, but it should be a perfect solution if you’re normal and don’t give people gifts you snatched up from an empty construction site.
With this set of five OXO Good Grips Pop Containers, the days of snacks going stale are no more. $42 is the best deal we’ve seen on this set since May, and it makes a great holiday gift even if you don’t need it for yourself. They look a lot classier than chip clips, and you’re way less likely to lose them too.
Looking to get some trendy mid-century modern look without spending a fortune? Amazon’s got you covered with deals on a ton of Rivet, Stone and Beam, and AmazonBasics-branded furniture, for a limited time.
Over 150 products are included in this sale, ranging from mirrors and lamps all the way to mattresses and full-sized leather sofas.
If you’re sick of renting carpet washers every time you spot a new stain, you can buy your own for $99 today, within $2 of an all-time low. The Bissell SpotClean has a squeaky-clean 4.2 star review average from over 4,000 customers, and includes a number of tools for floors, stairs, and furniture.
Just prepare to be disturbed. Deep cleaning a carpet can be a revealing experience that a lot of people aren’t prepared for.
This microfiber towel is considered by many detailing aficionados to be the best for drying off your car after you wash it. In fact, I can personally confirm that it’s less a towel and more a towel-shaped sponge. It’s also down to within a few cents of the best price Amazon’s listed all year, so grab a bunch and stuff them in stockings.
Cooking eggs isn’t exactly rocket science, but I’d say the ability to make soft, medium, and hard boiled eggs, plus omelettes and poached eggs at the touch of a button is worth $15. The Dash is Amazon’s top-selling egg cooker, and carries a truly stellar 4.4 star review average from over 7,000 customers, so get it while it’s on sale for its best price of the year.
Note: Usually, these sales are only for one color, but as of the time of this writing, you can pick from any of them.
Why pay for an electric scooter by the minute when you can just buy one outright for the best price ever? The Swagtron City Commuter can cruise at 18 mph for 6-12 miles, depending on conditions, and it even has a built-in phone holder and an app that can toggle your headlight, set your cruise control, and more.
At $271 (down from the usual $360-$400), it’s a better long term investment than the plague of electric scooters that befell our cities this year. Just don’t leave it in the middle of the damn sidewalk, please.
Whether you just bought an Instant Pot on Cyber Monday, or you’re a pressure cooking veteran who’s ready to graduate to new types of recipes, silicone accessories are flexible (literally), space-saving, and easy to clean.
Instant Pot makes its own line of silicone gear, and all of it is on sale right now for the best prices since January. The steam basket and steam rack are all but essential, while the springform cake and loaf pans (yes, cake and loaf pans made of silicone) are great for making desserts. It’s all cheap, it’s all designed for the Instant Pot, and it’s all dishwasher safe, so get cooking.
If you’re expecting to take part in a White Elephant game this holiday season, you could do worse than to bring this Bella Cotton Candy Maker, currently on sale for $17 at Walmart. It’s unexpected, kitschy, and a little weird without being totally useless junk, and these are the qualities of a successful Yankee Swap gift.
Whatever lucky giftee walks away with it will suddenly be able to throw a much more festive New Year’s Eve party, and you might be able to get away with stealing back your own present. I mean, look at that Pinterest/Insta-worthy photo! You can’t tell me you don’t want that kind of beauty in your life.
Far too many days begin without waffles. Tragic? Yes, but that’s a problem easily solved. Right now, you can pick up a Krups GQ502D Waffle Maker for $31 on Amazon. That’s the best price we’ve seen all year.
“We need to remember what’s important in life: friends, waffles, work. Or waffles, friends, work. Doesn’t matter, but work is third.” - Leslie Knope
I mean, what’s a few measly dollars when you can enjoy crispy, fluffy waffles right now? I mean, this model has removable die-cast plates you can stick in the dishwasher. What convenience!
If you primarily use your blender to make smoothies for yourself, you don’t need to make a giant pitcher dirty, you need a Nutribullet. This 900W model blends your drink inside an individual cup (it comes with two, plus lids and handles), meaning you’ll have a much easier job cleaning up afterwards.
Today’s $60 deal is within $4 of an all-time low, so grab it before the deal gets pulverized.
It’s only a matter of time before we’re all buried in snow. Be prepared when that fateful day finally arrives, and get (at least) one of these AmazonBasics 1500 Watt Space Heaters in either black or silver for the poorly insulated corners of your house. Currently on sale for $20, this little ceramic hottie features an adjustable thermostat and three output options: low, high, or fan only. Plus, it has an easy-carry handle so you can take it with you as you move throughout your home. I expect this will be a hot commodity, what with temperatures dropping by the second, so get yours now or risk being left out in the cold.
Your KitchenAid stand mixer is already an amazing appliance, but now it can be even more so with this spiralizer attachment. Turn zucchini into pasta! Core and peel your applies! Slice things! That’s a lot of bang for your buck at today’s $50 price, which is about $25 less than you’d usually pay. If you want to plan your entire holiday menu around the many uses of this tool, we won’t stop you. In fact, it sounds like a pretty good idea.
Sleep is precious. Whether or not you get enough sets the tone for your entire day, so give yourself a fighting chance at happiness with a white noise machine to cancel out any sounds that might keep you awake.
Amazon has the Marpac Dohm Classic, which allows you to customize the volume and tone, for $40 — a fair investment for your first foray into sound therapy. Once you’ve got the soothing din working, all you’ll need is a weighted blanket for maximum quality sleepage.
A perfect stocking stuffer for anyone who ever dabbles in electrical work, Sperry’s outlet tester uses a series of three lights and an easy-to-read chart to make sure you avoid any shocking surprises. At under $5, it’s near the best price we’ve ever seen, albeit as an Add-On Item.
Once you’ve gotten used to keeping a multi-tool on you, it can be hard to go without. But the TSA doesn’t care about that, and good luck getting your Leatherman on a plane.
The Gerber Shard isn’t as fancy as a lot of mini tool gizmos, but it’s airline approved and it fits on your keychain — and it’s $5. It features three drivers, a wire stripper, a pry bar, and a bottle opener, so maybe it’s just enough to keep you from having handy gadget withdrawals in “no weapons” situations. (It’s also a nice little gift for people that don’t really need or want anything else.)
You know you’re officially an adult when a chest freezer makes it onto your wish list, even if it’s only in a vague “that would be nice to have” sense. Whether it would live in your garage or right in the kitchen, it’s a life improvement you can’t fully appreciate until you’ve grown up.
With the Arctic King 5-Cubic-Foot Chest Freezer, on sale for $155 at Walmart, you’ll finally have a place to stash your stock of frozen foods. And no judgment if it’s nothing but cartons of Halo Top. We all have our weaknesses.
Power Practical’s latest Luminoodle is a terrific light strip attached to an amazing button, and it’s ideal for illuminating dark closets, or installing under shelves and cabinets.
It’s an affordable product to begin with, but right now, you can save 20% with promo code 3EYFQVKX. That’ll work on the daylight or warm white versions, and on the single pack or the three-pack, which is basically a three-for-the-price-of-two deal.
If kitchen utensils were sentient, I imagine these would take offense to being called lazy. They have built-in notches to help them balance on the rims of your cookware. How is that lazy? If anything, it’s going above and beyond.
I suppose the “lazy” in “Rachael Ray Silicone 3-Piece Lazy Tools Set” ($12 at Walmart and Amazon) might be a reference to the chef who uses them, like, “ha, you’re too lazy to hold this spatula for 30 minutes while your sauce reduces.” But again, is that really lazy? To me, it seems more sensible. Let your kitchen implements handle themselves while you focus on some mise en place or something. Work smart, not hard.
For a limited time, Amazon will sell you three pouches of Tide HE-compatible laundry detergent (totaling 144 ounces or 93 loads) for just $14 after you clip the 20% coupon.
These pouches are designed basically as refills for plastic Tide bottles, but as long as that doesn’t bother you, this is a fantastic price-per-ounce for any detergent, let alone name brand. Just be sure to clip the coupon on the page, and use Amazon Subscribe & Save for even more savings.
If you still don’t have an Instant Pot in your kitchen (or want a second; it’s not that crazy!), it may be time to grab the 8 qt. DUO model for $79. That’s not quite as cheap as Black Friday, but it’s a great deal if you cook for large groups. The 6 quart Wi-Fi model is also back down to $90, the same price as Cyber Monday.
In addition to pressure cooking (which is a miracle), this is also our readers’ favorite slow cooker, and one of their favorite rice cookers too. To put it simply, it’s one of the most versatile kitchen gadgets you can own.
You can certainly get through life without a full-length mirror, but they’re awfully handy to have when you’re trying out new ensembles. And if you forego the cheap over-the-door kind in favor of a nice leaner, a big mirror can even be a nice decor touch.
This Sandberg Rose Gold Full Length Leaner Mirror features a super now aesthetic and, at 65" x 31", it’ll let you check yourself out from head to toe to avoid embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions. And if you’re some kind of alien who’s not into rose gold, don’t worry: There are plenty of other finishes available.
There comes a time in every young person’s life when he or she must strike out and leave the nest to take up a new dwelling place. When that time comes, owning a basic tool set is a must, and this $49 Stanley Black + Decker 20-Volt MAX* 85-Piece Drill Kit is a solid choice.
Along with a drill and accessories for weekend projects, it includes hand tools you’ll need for everyday tasks, like a hammer, a tape measure, screwdrivers, and a stud finder (maybe it’ll point the way to Chris Hemsworth?). They’re probably not the most high-quality tools on the planet, but they’re a fine starter collection for a fledgling adult adapting to a new native habitat.
Especially during the bleak winter months, it feels good to have something green in your home. This sets of succulents, which features five different aloe plants, is on sale for $12, and they don’t need much sunlight or water, giving them a solid chance of surviving the frigid months ahead. Plus, they make for nice plant children to nurture while all other flora is cold and dead outside.
Firstleaf is an online wine club that learns your preferences, offers tons of options, and most importantly, saves you money compared to buying from the store. It’s a solid deal any time, but it’s even better for our readers from now through the holidays.

Winter demands utility over style; after all, not freezing to death usually take precedence over looking good. Does not include and cannot be applied to previous or pending purchases, credit card balances, taxes, monogramming charges, gift cards, or gift boxes.

You might as well pack all your shoes that aren’t boots into storage; for the next few months, cold temperatures call for footwear that covers as much of your leg as possible. Luckily, Nordstrom Rack is here for your calves’ warmth with a major Frye Flash Event. Men’s and women’s shoes — including those classic Frye boots — are up to 50% off, along with Frye handbags and men’s accessories, like scarves, backpacks, gloves, and hats. Rest assured, these items can all stand up to winter weather, but they won’t stick around long, so shop soon.
We’re huge fans of Coalatree’s outdoor-friendly Trailhead pants and shorts, and for a limited time, you can get them for 30% off, plus a free camping hammock when you spend $75 or more.
The pants are water-resistant, anti-microbial, easily packable, and a little bit stretchy for added flexibility while you hike (or just walk around town). Both men’s and women’s cuts, as well as the shorts, are included in the sale, and the aforementioned hammock will automatically appear in your cart when you meet the spending threshold. You’ll also get free shipping on orders over $100, so stock up on gifts.
Philips OneBlade Face + Body Bundle | $37 | Amazon
If you missed out on the Philips OneBlade’s $20 Black Friday deal (or if you love it so much that you already want a second one), it’s back down to $22 on Amazon right now, which is still $13 less than usual, and an incredible value for one of our favorite shaving products ever.
The Face + Body version is also on sale for an all-time low $37. It looks similar, but it includes a second blade in the box, a special comb for body hair (yes, even down there), and a better battery than the original.
At the intersection of “cute” and “comfortable,” you will find Clarks. And even though deals week seems like a decade ago, the footwear brand is throwing it back to Cyber Monday today with a one-day only sale on their site.
Shoppers can take an extra 40% off boots, slippers, and more for both men and women (the discount will be applied at checkout). Plus, snag 30% off the rest of your purchase with promo code CYBER. The deals won’t stack, but it’s still a shoo-in of a sale.
If you’ve ever wanted to own a tiny axe, now’s your chance. IMO, the mini hatchet alone makes the Whetstone Multi-Function 10-in-1 Camping Tool totally worth today’s $6 price; the fact that it also has a hammer, pliers, screwdrivers, and several other functions is just a fun bonus.
In the words of the great philosophers ZZ Top, every girl’s crazy about a sharp dressed man. Becoming one of those men is easier than you think, especially with today’s sale on men’s fashion at Amazon. Shirts, shoes, jackets, sweaters, and more are discounted — something for every occasion.
Shorten your mental checklist of smartphone-wallet-keys to just two components with this stick-on wallet case.
Make sure to clip the coupon and use the code promo code KP8RYT4K to bring the price down to $8.
What do you get this holiday season for the person that loves water, doesn’t have a ton of storage space, and enjoys having shoulders that feel like they’re on fire?
Computer! <bleep bloop bleep bloop>
An inflatable kayak! Walmart’s discounting a single seater from Intex to $60 today. It’snot as stable as a real kayak, but it can fit in the trunk of your car or the back of a closet with ease.
While most eye masks try to provide as little compression as possible, IMAK’s compression pain relief mask lightly presses around your eyes by design to help with headaches, migraines, and sinus pain. You can even throw it in the freezer for cooling (but not too cooling) relief when you go to bed.
$9 is the best price Amazon’s listed all year, and it makes a great stocking stuffer for light sleepers and headache sufferers.
Everlane’s Choose What You Pay section (which, for the unindoctrinated, allows shoppers to choose from three different, discounted price points for an item) is always a good source of savings on some of the brand’s coveted, stylish basics, but it’s usually pretty limited. That is, until now. Everlane has flooded their Choose What You Pay sections for both men and women with a ton of overstocked inventory, including a wide selection of shoes for the ladies. This is likely the last you’ll see of these styles, so take your pick before they sell out, as much of Everlane’s offerings are wont to do.
Beauty megastore Sephora carries some of the best beauty staples year round, plus some really nice holiday gift sets during the most wonderful time of the year. If you’re in the market for either, now would be a great time to stock up, since Sephora is currently hosting its Beauty Insider holiday event. Insiders (aka Sephora reward program members — it’s free to join) can save $15 on purchases of $75 or more; that’s 20% off their whole order. Meanwhile, reward program members at the VIB and Rouge levels can save $20 and $25, respectively, off their purchases of $75 and up. Just use promo code 2018HOORAY, and be sure to check out before December 12, when this beauty of a sale finally fades.
No matter how what method you use to commute, it has drawbacks. Public transportation makes you beholden to other people’s schedules, driving a car forces you to combat traffic and is environmentally unfriendly, and riding a bike means you’ll arrive at the office winded and drenched in sweat.
Nailing a solid smoky eye is one of the most fundamental, yet arduous makeup skills that one can acquire, but Urban Decay’s Naked Smoky Palette makes it flat-out easy. Today, this cult-favorite is just $25, down from its usual price of $54, at Nordstrom Rack.
Like much of the brand’s Naked range, the palette features 12 shades of wearable neutral shadows in both matte and shimmery textures that you will want to use for holiday party season, and they won’t even make you look like a raccoon. Get a palette of your own ASAP before it sells out or the deal goes up in smoke.
If you’re having trouble sleeping, suffering from anxiety, or having trouble sleeping because you’re suffering from anxiety, Sunday Scaries CBD gummies could help. Jolie Kerr shared her thoughts on them for The Inventory, and now, our readers can save 15% for the always-stressful holiday season with promo code kinja15.
That applies to the regular gummies, the vegan versions, and the pure CBD tincture, with extra savings available if you buy in bulk, so your wallet can rest as easy as you will.
BEST MEDIA DEALS
This is the Star Wars gift idea you’ve been looking for. Star Wars: The Blueprints is the ultimate coffee table book for any fan of the series, and at $43, it’s never been cheaper on Amazon than it is right now. The book features 250 insanely detailed blueprints of the ships and locations you know and love, 500 full-color photographs and illustrations, and 10 gatefolds that fold out for an immersive experience.
Breath of the Wild is one of the greatest games ever made, so we’ll forgive Nintendo for spiking the football with a ~400 page hardcover compendium full of design artwork, commentary about the game’s development, and a history of the Breath of the Wild’s take on Hyrule.
The book only just came out, but its price has been chopped down like so many blades of grass to an all-time low $19 today. That’s not a lot of rupees for an incredible gift for any Nintendo fan.
BEST GAMING DEALS
CHA-LA HEAD CHA-LA! Dragon Ball FighterZ for the PS4 is $20 right now!
Look, we’re a little more than a month away from Broly’s reboot and, for those champing at the bit for some high-octane, ki-fueled action, this deal could be what the doctor (Gero, Briefs, or Wheelo) ordered.
With an ever-expanding roster and awesome cel shaded/anime-loyal design, it’s sure to please even the most rabid fan.
This is the best price we’ve seen on this game. Unfortunately, Xbox One users will have the settle on a humble $10 discount and Switch users are as neglected as Gohan during the Saiyan Saga.
I’m not one of those people who thinks digital entertainment is evil, but occasionally playing outside does have its benefits. Encourage your kids (and yourself) to spend a little more time in nature with today’s outdoor toys Gold Box at Amazon.
There are plenty of lawn games to get the whole family involved, but you could also opt for the giant climbing apparatus or a trampoline if you prefer to mostly observe the fun. You’d be missing out, though.
Thanos’ gauntlet may have been destroyed, but there must have been just enough power left in the Infinity Stones to conjur a Marvel Gold Box where high prices have ceased to exist. It’s not a uniform 50% off as you might expect, but it averages out to a perfect balance between spending and saving.
How will you decide what to buy? The hardest choices require the strongest wills, but even if you get carried away, you can rest easy knowing that it won’t cost you everything. Fun isn’t something one considers when balancing the universe, but this… should put a smile on your face.
I take issue with Amazon labeling this Gold Box “lifesize toys.” All toys exist in real life and are therefore lifesize, but you know what? It’s fine. Let’s just go with the Tyra Banks definition of lifesize to mean “really big.”
And big these toys are. From kid-sized kitchens too all manner of ride-ons to a full-blown swingset, these are playthings that will dominate a space. Good for Christmas morning, but after that, I hope you have a dedicated playroom to contain them. (If not, maybe stick with the outdoor options. Or don’t. “I have children” is a valid decor style choice.)
It’s extremely likely that at least one child in your life enjoys playing with dolls. (If not, cheap toys can still be a worthy purchase.) Today’s Gold Box is a dream come true for kids who love make believe, with a selection of dolls and accessories — houses, pets, clothes, and more — to take tangible Sims-ing to the next level.
It’s not practical to keep a full-size photo booth in most homes, but dolls can totally do it. Living horses are expensive to take care of, but plastic ones require no maintenance. We have no actual royalty in America, but a handful of Barbie-sized Disney princess dolls are down to $6, which is as low as you can ever expect to see. Vicariously living your best life is what imaginative play is all about, so don’t miss out on the chance to make doing that even more fun.
There are two ways you can go with the Hot Wheels Classic 50-Car Collection Pack Assortment. You can give it all at once as a gift set, as was intended, or you can do what I’ve done and randomly dole out the cars here and there as little gifts to remind everyone that you are a magnanimous ruler. (It’s been a couple of years since my purchase, and I still have vehicles leftover for whenever the need arises.)
At 60 cents per car, either choice is the right choice. Think of it as an equal opposite of WarGames: The only losing move is not to buy.
Yo dawg, Amazon heard your offspring like opening stuff, so they put a bunch of surprise toys in their Gold Box so the kids can unbox gifts while they unbox gifts. Seriously, everything from Hatchimals to Popteenies to a bunch of other unwrappable “collectibles” I’ve never heard of is part of the selection, along with some random traditional toys like Calico Critters and Paw Patrol.
I’ve learned not to ask questions when it comes to trends started on YouTube, but there are clearly good deals to be had in this assortment, assuming you’re cool with shopping for stuff like talking tacos.
When you’re too young to drive a car, zooming around on an electric toy of some kind is as rad as it gets. Actually, normal scooters are pretty fun, too.
But there’s no need to choose sides here — Walmart’s got traditional scooters, hoverboards, powered 2-wheelers, and various other awesome vehicles starting at just $15, so everyone’s a winner. Unless you’re talking about racing, in which case whoever’s on the Razor Metro probably has an edge.
One way to dissuade children from climbing all over your furniture is to offer an acceptable alternative. Coming up blank on what that would even look like? Amazon has some massive kids’ furnishings and games on sale today that are designed to be played with, scaled, walked over, and generally abused in typical kid fashion.
(Some of them also look like they’d make decent napping spots for perpetually tired parents, if you happen to know any.)
Is your bonus room living up to its fullest potential? If not, take the first step toward rectifying that with Amazon’s one-day sale on gameroom essentials. The shuffleboard, air hockey, and foosball tables are small and probably not the best quality, but they’re better than the nothing you currently have. And if you find yourself playing frequently, you can always upgrade to something nicer.
This $30 CORSAIR M65 Pro mouse is absolute gamer clickbait.

This FPS-focused, super clicky model typically sells for around $50-60, and this is the best price Amazon’s ever listed.
These discounted and powerful gaming computers from CyberPower PC could fool friends into thinking you built your own rig. Both $1,700 rigs are fully specced out, offering 16GB of RAM, and the powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20 series graphics cards.
Happy Smash week, one and all. Nintendo’s insanely huge new fighter comes out on Friday, which means this is your last week to preorder on Amazon to get a $10 Prime credit added to your account.
Just note that the code will be added to your account 30-35 days after the game ships, and that this is only available on the physical copy, not digital.
If you want to play it with a GameCube controller, as nature intended, you don’t forget to order the gamepad and a USB adapter as well.
Anki Overdrive is the smartphone-age love child of slot cars and Mario Kart, and you can save big on the standard and Fast & Furious Edition starter kits today.
From our deal researcher Corey, who owns the Fast & Furious Edition:
The Fast & Furious Edition is compatible with all other Anki Overdrive cars and accessories, and expands on the original with new cars, game modes. and movie dialogue. It’s a huge hit in our house among my kids, their friends, and especially over beers with my adult friends. There’s even a single-player mode that I find myself booting up after everyone goes home and my kids are sleep. I grind for new weapons and powerups that I later use to decimate my opponents - yeah, usually kids. There are no participation trophies in my house.
Both kits include two cars and enough track pieces to build eight different raceways, and both allow you to add new cars and track pieces that you bought a la carte whenever you want. The Fast & Furious Edition is a few bucks more than the standard today ($93 vs. $86), but the standard set is at the best price Amazon’s ever listed.
Consider this post a Hogwarts acceptance letter — that is, if Hogwarts also taught coding. Wizards who also aspire to become code whizzes can combine their interests with this Kano Harry Potter Coding Kit, now on sale for $80. Students build their own coding wand, and with just a swish and flick, they’ll see instant effects on their screen while also learning the fundamentals of code. There are 70-plus creative challenges for kids ages 6 and up to master before they can confidently say, “Mischief managed.”
Board games are super fun, but they take up a lot of real estate when your collection reaches a certain size. Humble Bundle knows that we don’t all have space for a giant cabinet of amusements, so they’ve created a digital assemblage to entertain you and take up zero room (except in your Steam library, but that’s already overflowing, so a few new additions won’t hurt).
For $1, they’ll give you seven ports of games like Harald and Agricola for platforms ranging from Android to Mac. Pay $7 or more to unlock 11 more games, including Pandemic and Splendor. I’m not entirely sure about the logistics of having friends over for game night when you have to sit in front of a computer to play, but I’m sure there’s a way to make it work. The human spirit is predisposed to overcome all kinds of obstacles.
With Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft basically created the Netflix of video games, and it’s a great deal at its usual $10 per month. But for a limited time, you can get a gift card for a whole year for just $70.
Xbox Game Pass grants you access to newer releases like State of Decay 2 and Sea of Thieves, as well as classics like KOTOR and all of the Gears of War games. The only catch is that you’ll be auto-renewed at the standard rate after the year is up, but hopefully there will be another deal before that happens, right?
