Women’s Must-haves

Today only, grab huge discounts on Keds sneakers from Amazon’s Gold Box. Inside, you’ll find some ramped up versions of the classic white tennis shoe, and all for under $40. You’ll want to run (or at least speed walk) to this deal because it’ll be gone by tomorrow.

beauty steals

If you haven’t gotten into Korean Beauty just yet, the best place to start is with sheet masks. Tony Moly is one of the best known K-beauty brands stateside, and the I’m Real masks are the best sellers. Get all 11 masks for $10 on Amazon and start your path to K-beauty domination.

If you have ever watched a beauty tutorial on YouTube, there’s about a 75% chance that before the person applies anything to their eyes, they use Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. It’s one of those things that consistently shows up in beauty bloggers’ bags and it’s on sale at Sephora for only $10 (which is half of its normal price tag).

You may wonder why you need an eyeshadow primer, and for good reason. While eyeshadows are made to hold pigment, a primer will not only boost the saturation of the color, but it’ll make the shadow last longer (hence why so many make up artists swear buy it) and prevent creasing.

The version on sale is the old applicator (a squeeze tube rather than the wand) but it’s still the same 24-hour, nude eyeshadow primer formula that you all know and love.

Home Goods

Odds are, you’ve got a $20 Crock-Pot sitting in a cabinet, gathering dust. But with just a few added features, the humble slow cooker can be one of your favorite kitchen tools, and one of the best models on the market is on sale in today’s Amazon Gold Box.

Unlike most entry level slow cookers, the Hamilton Beach Set ‘n Forget is fully programmable on a few different parameters. You could set it to cook for a certain amount of time, after which it’ll switch to a keep warm mode; perfect for preparing six hour recipes during nine hour workdays. You can also insert a thermometer probe, and it’ll cook your meat to the proper temperature, and no higher.

I got a very similar cooker as a wedding gift (it didn’t include the clip-on spoon), and I use it on a weekly basis. This model hardly ever goes on sale, but today’s $40 price tag is an all-time low. Just be sure to grab yours today, before it sells out.

A good chef’s knife is by far the most important tool in any cook’s arsenal, and you can get yourself a great—not to mention beautiful—one from Shun for just $59 on Amazon today.

We already know that Shun makes one of your favorite chef’s knives, and while the Shun Sora doesn’t share the Premier’s steel layering or wooden handle, it only costs about 1/3 as much, and reviewers still give it high marks. The biggest draw here though, at least for me, is the samurai sword-style waves on the blade. Holy crap that’s pretty.

This knife most commonly sells for $80 on Amazon, but you can grab one for $59 right now. Just be careful with it!

If you’re the kind of person that needs new sheets or duvet at the change of a season, Pottery Barn’s sale is here for you. The pricey home goods retailer marked down pretty much all bedding 20-60% off, which means you can get that comforter you’ve been needing since last year for a price that won’t make you wince.

The Big Sales

The Body Shop isn’t just for great smelling body lotions and bridal shower gifts. The skin care at The Body Shop is low key amazing. I’ve tried most of the Vitamin C line and it’s pretty much amazing, especially for summer. Get 40% off sitewide right now, plus get a free full-sized hand cream with purchase of $50+, and try out all the new things.

ThinkGeek is celebrating Tim Burton’s birthday the only way ThinkGeek could, with up to 60% off a slew of geeky fare. Practically every realm of the geekdom is represented, so there’s bound to be something you want for a discounted price.

ASOS’s massive sale has been going on for a while, but with an extra 10% off when you use the code MOREPLEASE, it’s now even hard to ignore.Women’s and men’s apparel, beauty, accessories, shoes, anything you could possibly need is marked down an extra 10%. Now get on it.

The heat is still apparent, but that doesn’t mean your mind can’t be on the cooler months. Patagonia’s 50% off sale is full of cold-weather staples like their Nano-Air Jacket and Ultralight Down Vest (plus a few summer styles leftover as well). Stock up while the prices are way low.

With the weather as nice as it is right now (in New York, at least) there’s basically no excuse not to be outside. If maybe that excuse revolves around not having the right equipment to be camping/hiking/outdoorsy, Moosejaw is giving you 40% off everything that has to do with Fall when you use the code COCONUTS. Why coconuts? No clue, but enjoy.

Once again, LOFT is here to make your summer wardrobe better. Get 50% off Summer Styles and an extra 50% off all sale items, no code necessary. It’s a LOFT summer, if I do say so myself.

Journelle should already be on your radar, and if it isn’t, 15% off when you use the code SUMMERLOVE should help. Good bras (read: bras that are supportive, comfortable, and attractive) are rarely under $50. But with the sale going on, you end up with brands like Dita Von Teese, L’Agent, Stella McCartney and more for prices that rival VS, but are much, much better. Plus, unlike the Victoria’s Secret trips of yonder years, if your boobs are bigger than a DD cup, you’ll actually find something.

Even if you’re not the biggest Kate Spade fan, you’ll be able to find something in the vast sea of polka dots and stripes that is the 75% off Surprise Sale. There are so many styles and colors to choose from that even if you were kind of wanting a new bag (or wallet, or passport holder, or dress), this sale will convince you that you definitely need one.

FYI: You do have to enter your email address, but getting emails from them is also the only way to find out when the next surprise sale will be.

The best pair of jeans I ever bought were BDG jeans from Urban Outfitters. They lasted me through high school and into college before basically disintegrating. Now’s your chance to find your own best pair of jeans with $20 off all BDG brand jeans at Urban.

Benefit Cosmetics is by far one of my favorite makeup brands. The products are high-quality and the packaging is one-of-a-kind. I know I’ll be stocking up during their SALE-abration, with up to 50% off some really awesome limited edition sets and free shipping with the code SHIP25. You’d better too.

Can’t wait for fall? Neither can Sperry. They’re marking down their fall styles to $75 for both men and women. So if you need a new pair of boat shoes, now the chance to grab a pair for $20 off.
