Beauty Steals
Sephora isn’t known for their discounts and deals like other retailers, but they’re trying something new this year. Starting today (and happening every Thursday), Sephora will drop a bunch of deals and offers for one week only. This week, there’s five palettes from Tarte, Stila, and Anastasia Beverly Hills to choose from. They’re already going fast, so you should probably get over there.
Kiko Milano Cosmetics is a rare, but versatile drugstore brand. They’re on the higher-end of the prices you see in your local Walgreens or CVS, but with their Back-to-School sale going on, you can knock off 10% on select items with the code SCHOOL. Coverup, eyeshadow palettes, lip colors, and more are included.
Plus, if you need to pick up some nail color for the upcoming season change, they’re buy three, get three free.
The Big Sales
Bralettes are a lazy girl’s best friend when it comes to being comfy and covered. Aerie is having a BOGO on all bralettes and unlined bras, in basically every style you could think of. With most of them priced in the $25-$30 range, that means you’re getting two of them for just $13-$15 each. I recommend stocking up on a couple different styles.
I also recommend poking around the site for other deals, like 10-for-$30 underwear, and up to 60% off a ton of spring- and summer-ready styles in their clearance section.
Journelle carries bras for basically everything, and if you didn’t know that they had swimwear, you’re in for a treat. While swimsuit season is coming to a close, the lingerie retailer is knocking up to 50% off their swim styles, including bikinis and one pieces. Get something for next season, or plan a tropical holiday for the impending winter just to wear one of these.
Sorel is one of your favorite winter boot brands, but if you were looking for something a little different from Sorel, their Summer Sale is for you. Take up to 50% off some fashion-forward sandals, rain boots, and more that’ll make your old galoshes and flip flops look like garbage bags for your feet.
If you hurry, you can nab some really awesome Vince pieces at Nordstrom Rack. Everything you could want from the brand is marked down, including trousers, sweaters, and shoes. These things go fast though, and the sale itself will end in 3 days, so you’d better hurry.
Free People has grown up out of their exclusively hippy-dippy, oversized style, and with their sale happening at Nordstrom Rack, you can take advantage. Add new denim to your closet or pair of shoes you’ve been eyeing all month, for almost a third of what you’d normally pay. They’re even discounting over 150 lingerie items.
Right now, GAP has everything discounted up to 50% off, which is great, sure. But they’re throwing inan additional 20% off with the code BESTDEAL. The exclusions list is long (as usual), but for the first time in a while, it doesn’t include denim.
They also just dropped a bunch of new arrivals for both men and women, just in time for the new season.
Patagonia’s Web Specials section is always full of amazing discounts on gear you’ll actually want to use. For their huge Summer Sale, they’re taking to 50% off those Web Specials and past season products. If you were waiting to pick up winter gear until it was discounted, now is your chance.
Anthropologie will always be a good destination to start looking for something unique. With 20% off all full-price dress and jumpsuits, no code needed, that uniqueness is that much more affordable. Just add your favorite pieces to your cart and watch the prices drop.
Update: If you spend $100+, use the code 15OFF100 and get 15% off on your entire order.
It’s time to start planning your outdoor adventures and Backcountry is gonna help you out in the gear department. Take advantage of their Semi-Annual Sale happening right now and grab up to 50% off select styles. Gear, apparel, shoes, and more are all fair game, which means outfitting for your next outdoor adventure just costs you a whole lot less.
Home Goods
Steaming your clothes might not get them as crisp as ironing, but it does a decent enough job in a fraction of the time, and for $15, why not? It’s even small enough to pack away in your suitcase.
Humanity can’t yet get to Mars, make the subways run on time, or get rid of the penny, but we have at least figured out how to pour wine without turning the bottle upside down, and that counts for something.
The Waerator is a battery-powered gadget that basically acts as a tap for any bottle of wine. Just shove the contraption down over the mouth of the bottle, and hit the button to dispense wine. On the way up, it’ll also get heavily aerated (they claim six times more than a gravity-fed aerator), which really can improve the flavor of certain varieties of wine.
The Waerator almost always sells for $60, but today only, Amazon’s knocking that down to $40. Even if you don’t want it for yourself, this could make for a good gift later down the road.
Nobody relishes the idea of sleeping on an air mattress, but they might not mind this discounted Insta-Bed.
$108 is more than you’d spend on most other air mattresses (though it’s an all-time low for this one), but this one includes a pillow top cover for extra softness, and most importantly, a built-in pump that silently trickles more air into the mattress overnight. Just set your desired firmness, and the mattress will automatically maintain it as long as it’s plugged in. I slept on one of these for a few days after a recent move, and loved it as much as anyone can love sleeping on an air mattress.
Microfiber cloths are great for cleaning your face, wiping down your TV, drying your car, and a lot more, and you can stock up with a 24-pack of AmazonBasics cloths for just $8 today, or $7 when you use Subscribe & Save. That’s an all-time low.
Vacuuming is simultaneously the worst chore, and the chore most easily pawned off to a robot. How convenient!
While it lacks the brand recognition of a Roomba, and we can’t personally vouch for them like we can for the Eufy RoboVac 11, this ILIFE A4S vacuum has very good reviews, and is insanely affordable today at $150 with promo code PB4ZZEMG. Now you’ll have more time to clean the bathroom!
Update: The Ecovacs Deebot M80 is also on sale for $180 with code GALS5HDW. The M80 includes Wi-Fi so you can control it from your smartphone, and also works as a robotic mop for hard floors.

You don’t need to pay Apple $160 to enjoy truly wireless earbuds: These SoundPEATS look nearly identical to the AXGIO earbuds that I tried out a few months ago, but with updated Bluetooth tech (4.2 vs. 4.1) and a lower price tag. They’re not as sleek as some other truly wireless headphones on the market like AirPods or the Bragi Dash, but you can’t beat that price.
USB-C is eating the world, so it’s probably a good idea to invest in quality cables that will last. Anker’s PowerLine cables are our readers’ favorites, and the nylon-wrapped PowerLine+ models are even better. Get a USB 3.0 to USB-C 6' cable for $10 today, or about $4 less than usual.
