Today only, Amazon is offering up this 860 watt/1500-volt APC UPS for just $130, or about $30-$40 less than its usual price.

If you use a desktop computer, and you’ve ever lost work due to a brief power outage, this will of course keep your machine running without any interruption. But even if you only use laptops and mobile devices at home, this could still run lamps, your router and modem, or even your TV until the power comes back on.

Acer’s comfortably-sized Chromebook 13 is priced more like one of its 11” alternatives right now. The internals are nothing to get excited about, but the 13 hour battery life sure is.

Perhaps best of all though, the laptop comes bundled with a dozen GoGo in-flight internet passes. You have to use them within a year of redemption, but if you fly frequently enough, they could be worth more than you paid for the computer. [Acer Chromebook 13, $209]

For a limited time, Amazon’s taking $30 off the sticker price of the two best e-Ink Kindles, including the best deal we’ve seen on the new, 300ppi Kindle Paperwhite, and the first discount we’ve seen on the high-end Kindle Voyage, other than a well-publicized price mistake.
