$30 Echo Dots, Anker’s brightest flashlight, and Fitbit’s Aria smart scale lead off Wednesday’s best deals from around the web.

Update: Sold out
Amazon usually sells certified refurbished Echo Dots for $5 less than new models, but today only, that discount has increased to $20 for Prime members. Refurbished Dots still carry the same warranty as new ones, so there’s really no downside to going this route if you want to sprinkle these around your home on a budget.
Amazon will be offering over 100 Alexa-exclusive deals during Prime Day next week, so there’s truly never been a better time to join the Echo-powered future.
TaoTronics’ Rock Bluetooth speaker, with its wraparound linen cover, is one of the most attractive I’ve ever seen, but don’t let that blind you from the impressive tech: 24 hours of battery life (same as the popular Anker SoundCore), dual 8W drivers, and the newest Bluetooth 4.2 standard.
Compared to the reader-favorite JBL Charge 3, the Charge 2+ has less battery life, and is merely splashproof rather than truly waterproof. That being said, it still sounds great, and can connect to multiple sources and pair with other JBL speakers for multi-room audio, so it’s a great deal at $90.
Anker’s take on truly wireless earbuds is finally here, and you can save a lot by preordering through Kickstarter.
Update: After running out the second time, Anker just added an additional 10,000 $99 backer rewards, so there’s still time to preorder.
Needless to say, we don’t make a habit of covering crowdfunding campaigns, but given that we’ve personally used almost every product Anker has ever made, and our readers have purchased more than 200,000 of their products without issue, we’ll make an exception. Especially for this huge preorder discount.
Even better, I checked out two engineering samples of the Liberty+ on a recent trip to Seattle. They were comfortable (using the only size of ear tips available with the samples), and sounded great both when streaming Spotify and playing a few minutes of some podcasts.
As you’d expect from Anker, the headline spec here is battery life. Liberty+ gets a competitive 3.5 hours of playtime from the earbuds, but a whopping 48 hours out of the charging case. They also have some waterproofing, use Bluetooth 5.0, and work with your favorite voice assistants. Just don’t expect to wear them underwater or find any built-in fitness tracking.
I’ve been using wireless earbuds most days since mid-2016, and between our team we’ve tested more than ten different pairs. Anker’s Liberty+ are a steal at $89 (or $99 if you miss the early bird special), and while they will of course get discounted many times in the future from their $149 MSRP, we wouldn’t expect this price point again any time soon.
Expected shipping in October 2017.
While Anker’s come out with nylon wrapped charging cables, and even some with lifetime warranties, their original PowerLine Lightning cable is still a big improvement over the one that came with your phone, and you can get three for an all-time low $18 right now with code PRIME258.
Aukey’s tiny USB car charger is a reader favorite, but this iClever model is the same size and puts out the same 4.8A of power over two ports, and it’s only $7 today with promo code ICCAR699. Plus, unlike the plastic Aukey, this one’s made of aluminum, which is supposedly better for heat dissipation, but it definitely looks cooler.
Anker’s PowerCore line has reigned as our readers’ favorite USB battery pack for nearly a year, and its long awaited sequel is $9 off today with promo code ANKPWR66.
For a limited time, you can grab the PowerCore II 20000 for $35, within a buck of the best price we’ve ever seen. In addition to a fresh new design, the PowerCore II includes three high speed USB charging ports with a whopping 30W shared between them, plus dual 10W microUSB inputs, allowing you to recharge the entire brick twice as quickly.
You don’t need to sell a kidney to afford noise-cancelling Bluetooth earbuds; these 4 star-rated Cowin E-7s are just $38 right now, or $32 off with promo code 42YFK63R.
They might not have the brand recognition of Sony or Bose, but these headphones pack in 30 hours of battery life, the ability to use them in wired mode if the battery dies, and yes, active noise cancellation that reviewers say works really well.
Mark your calendars, because Amazon’s third annual Prime Day is July 11, with the deals actually kicking off at 9PM ET the night before.
Of course, we’ll be sifting through the avalanche of deals to help you find the best stuff, but in the meantime, a few great digital discounts are already live on Amazon’s Prime Day hub page. The highlights here are six months of Audible for $9 each (rather than the usual $15), up to 40% off Kindle Unlimited subscriptions, and 15% off July 4 snacks. Again, these deals are available starting today, if you have a Prime subscription (sign up for a free 30 day trial here).
The best early access deal of them all though is undoubtedly four months of Amazon Music Unlimited for just $1. It’s only available for new members, but that’s the best deal we’ve seen on the service, which will still be less expensive than Spotify Premium ($8 vs. $10) after the promotional period expires.

Anker’s 1300 lumen LC130 flashlight is so bright, it ought to be illegal. Luckily, it’s not, and it’s also cheaper than ever today with promo code BEST0703.
In addition to the insanely bright bulbs, the LC130 features IP67 dust and water resistance, five different light modes, and a six hour battery that you can recharge over USB (it is Anker, after all).
You’ve probably noticed that mules have taken over all of your favorite bars, and now you can serve them at home with a pair of 4.8 star-rated hammered copper mugs for $16. You’ll also get a bonus copper shot glass in the box.
My tips: Try swapping out the vodka for gin to make a Manchester Mule. I also like to throw in a muddled mint leaf or two.
Buying headlight bulbs for your car before you need them will save you an inconvenient (and if it’s at night or raining, potentially illegal) trip to the auto parts store, and with this $4 Amazon coupon, you might as well stock up.
Philips VisionPlus bulbs have great customer reviews, and come in tons of different sizes to fit most vehicles. Just note that you won’t see the $4 discount until checkout, and don’t forget to do a little Googling to make sure you’re getting the right set.
Still haven’t made the transition to LED? Amazon will sell you a 6-pack of highly rated TaoTronics soft white bulbs for just $13 right now with promo code BS52P2JO. These put out the brightness equivalent of a 60W incandescent, but with only 9W of electricity each. Plus, many local utility companies offer rebates when you buy these things, so they should pay for themselves in short order.
Note: These bulbs aren’t dimmable, which isn’t surprising at this price, but just make sure you’re aware.
This highly rated Zojirushi coffee maker is marked down to $83 right now, which would be an all-time low listed price on its own. But the $20 clippable coupon on the page blows away every previous deal.
$63 gets you a 10-cup thermal carafe, a removable water tank for easy refilling, a programmable timer, and more.
Just because your house or apartment doesn’t have a doorbell doesn’t mean you’ll have to rely on knocking like a caveman. This $12 kit has everything you need to install one, no wiring required, including two plug-in receivers. ou can even choose from a variety of different chimes, and adjust the volume levels to your preference.
Go to your nearest home goods store, and you’ll find dozens of airtight containers to keep food and coffee fresh. But the Friis coffe vault takes things one step further with a valve and filter that lets your roast beans vent off CO2 without opening the lid, which keeps them fresher for longer.
This $35 drinking fountain means your pets’ water bowl is less likely to run dry, yes, but the simple fact that it keeps the water is constantly moving encourages your pets to drink more and stay properly hydrated. My wife is a vet, and this gets her stamp of approval.
I’m not going to sit here and tell you that buying a travel pillow will make flying pleasant. But maybe, just maybe, it’ll let you sleep through the experience to make it go faster. This memory foam model from Naipo is just $13 today on Amazon, and needless to say, you’d pay a bit more than that at the Hudson News outside your gate.
The newest, big-screen Nest Learning Thermostat 3.0 is down to $198 today, which is a match for the best discount we’ve ever seen. These don’t go on sale all that often, so if you have one on your wishlist, I wouldn’t hesitate.

You voted Indochino your favorite custom clothing company by a wide margin, and this week you can dress yourself in one of their premium suits for just $350. Use promo code KINJA.
You do not have to go through the measurement and customization process to lock in this discount. You can checkout now and submit later, which makes it very easy to gift a suit.
This matches our exclusive Black Friday discount, which is the best deal Indochino’s ever offered on their entire line, and one of our most popular exclusives ever.
Having a suit that fits perfectly is great, but the little details Indochino lets you customize, from your jacket lapels to pocket flaps to accent stiching around your buttons, are where things get fun.
How It Works
Measure and customize from home...
Follow the directions on Indochino’s site to submit your measurements and customize your suit. Once the suit arrives, if anything doesn’t fit quite right, Indochino will provide directions for your local tailor, along with a $75 credit to cover their work. If for whatever reason your tailor cannot resolve the issues, Indochino will remake your suit. Shipping and return shipping are free.
If you live near a showroom...
Purchase your suit online with our discount and take your receipt/account info into an Indochino showroom. They’ll do your measurements, walk you through your customization options, and have your suit delivered to the showroom. Return once it arrives for any final alterations if they’re needed.
Those who already have a closet full of suits may want to opt for something more interesting like the Indigo Twill Windowpane, while the rest of us should go for something versatile.

Today you can grab a Fitbit Aria smart scale on Amazon for $100, within $10 of the best price they’ve ever listed. It only really makes sense to buy this scale if you own (and regularly use) a Fitbit, but if you do, the Aria sync your weight, BMI, and body fat % to the Fitbit app to track your goals and progress over time.
Our readers have bought thousands upon thousands of nose hair trimmers over the years, but this newish model from Philips ups the ante with an eyebrow trimming attachment, plus comb guards to ensure that you don’t make any tragic mistakes.
It’s as good a time as any to stock up on new workout clothes with PUMA’s Semi-Annual Sale. There’s something for every level of exerciser, and some everyday basics that you can wear just to look like you kind of workout.
Because you just never know when you might need to dig a hole, here’s an $8 folding shovel that you can keep in your trunk, or even tied up to a camping bag. It’s only about 1.5 pounds, so go ahead and schlep it around with you everywhere.
For as ridiculously cheap as e.l.f. Cosmetics is, they have some outstanding products. Right now, they’re even cheaper because the code CELEBRATE gets you half off orders of $30+ (excluding new and sale items), plus there’s automatically free shipping on orders of $25 or more. I highly recommend the Hydrating Bubble Mask and the Liquid Highlighter, and even though it’s not part of the sale, the Beauty Shield Magnetic Mask Kit is too cool to pass up.
You can get $20 sunglasses that are polarized or $20 sunglasses with metal frames, but rarely both, and never in this many different styles.
Privé Revaux makes polarized, stylish shades for less than half of what you’d expect, and right now, our readers can take advantage of their best prices ever. Yes, the models are celebrities looking super awkward who probably had nothing better to do, but the sunglasses are actually pretty great looking.
The styles you see through this link are marked down to just $22 with promo code KJAPRV25 (only the lens colors you see on the search page), or choose one of these with any lens color for just $19 with the code KJAPRV35. The shades are mostly brow bar and aviator frames, which are probably the easiest styles for anyone to wear.
If you want to dip your toes into the world of electric toothbrushes, Philips’ entry level Sonicare Essence line is an amazing value at $20. I’ve been using this brush for years, and I still love it.
We saw this deal last month, and it sold out very quickly, so I wouldn’t hesitate to lock in your order if you’re interested.

There may not be a real Force of July celebration, but that won’t stop Amazon from bringing the deals. Right now, choose from Star Wars Favorites like apparel, toys, art, and more, during their one-day sale. But you’d better not have plans to pick up power converters down at the Tosche Station, because this sale ends faster than you can say “A parsec is a measure of distance, not time.”
If you love books, but don’t have as much time as you’d like to actually sit down and read them, Amazon’s Prime Day Audible deal has your name on it.
For a limited time, Prime members can get six months of the service for $9 each, down from the usual $15. That entitles you to a new book of your choice each month, and everything you buy is yours to keep, even if you cancel after the six month promotional period ends. While most of these kinds of promotions are only available to new members, you can get this deal if you’ve been a paid Audible subscriber in the past, as long as you haven’t been a member within the last 30 days.
For the rest of Amazon’s early Prime Day deals, check out our roundup here.
At $8 per month for Prime members, Amazon Music Unlimited was already more affordable than Spotify Premium or Apple Music, but Amazon’s sweetening the pot for new members by offering four months for just $1, for a limited time.
This deal is part of Amazon’s early Prime Day deals, and is by far the best deal they’ve ever offered on the service. If you’re a Prime member but haven’t signed up for Music Unlimited before, what’s $.25 per month to try it out?
Top Gaming Deals
Want a gaming PC, but don’t feel like building your own? This Amazon Gold Box deal is a pretty good place to start.
Today only, $750 gets you a GTX 1060 GPU, 16GB of gaming RAM, Windows 10 Pro, and an 8-core AMD processor. You’ll likely want to upgrade the 120GB SSD, but otherwise, this should handle almost everyone’s gaming needs, and today’s deal is $150 less than usual.
Injustice 2 packs a shockingly good story mode into a very fun fighting game, and you can already get it for $40 on Amazon, despite the fact that it’s less than two months old.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is out, which means if you’re lucky enough to own a Nintendo Switch, you probably have already bought an extra set of Joy-Con. Now, they’re easier to charge than ever, as Amazon’s taking $5 off the official Nintendo charging stand, one of the first discounts we’ve seen.
While certainly not perfect, I actually really enjoyed Mass Effect Andromeda. Plus, it’s likely to be the last we see of Mass Effect for quite some time. I think it’s absolutely worth $20 on PS4 and Xbox One. Remember to use promo code SAVER for free shipping (Update: Only on orders of $25 or more).
