This unique kitchen measuring cup doubles as a kitchen scale, so you can work seamlessly with both volume and weight-based recipes. [Etekcity Handy 11lb/5kg Digital Multifunction Kitchen Cup Scale, $14 with code DMFCP5FF]

The 38” model of one of your favorite sound bars is only $150 shipped today from eBay, if you don’t mind a refurb. We’ve seen this deal a few times in recent weeks, but if you haven’t taken advantage yet, I really can’t speak highly enough of it.

While the “bar” itself is great, what really makes this system special is its wireless subwoofer and satellite speakers, giving you true 5.1 surround sound at an incredibly cheap price, and with no A/V receiver required. Basically, the subwoofer sits in the back of your viewing room, and the rear satellite speakers hook into that, rather than a receiver below your TV. So the setup isn’t entirely wireless, but it does eliminate the need to run a wire from your TV to the back of the room, which is usually more than half the battle. I purchased this exact system a couple months ago, and I can’t believe how great it sounds, or how easy it was to set up.

The VIZIO 3851w normally sells for $200 refurbished, or over $230 new, and has great reviews no matter where you look. [Refurb Vizio 3851w-D4 5.1 Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer, $150]

Today only, Amazon’s offering this highly-rated Sony sound bar and wireless subwoofer for just $170 as part of a Gold Box deal.

In addition to delivering rich audio from your TV, the sound bar includes Bluetooth so you can stream music from your phone on the fly, and even NFC for easy device pairing. Today’s deal also happens to be the lowest price we’ve ever seen, and nearly $90 less than its usual going rate, so don’t hesitate to pick this up if you’re in the market for a better aural experience from your home theater. [Sony HTCT260H Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer, $170]

Watching movies at home is empirically better than watching them at a theater in most important ways, but getting the popcorn right can be a challenge. But this highly-rated Hamilton Beach popper though aims to change that with a convenient design that doubles as a serving bowl, a dishwasher safe popping chamber, and the ability to cook up to 24 cups of popcorn at once. Today’s $49 price tag is an all-time low, and roughly $25 off its usual price. [Hamilton Beach Party Popper Theater-Style Popcorn Maker, $49]

Tweetbot for Mac is one of a small handful of apps that I couldn’t live without, and you can score a copy for an all-time low $10 today. [Tweetbot, $10]

If your home wireless network has a few dead spots, your cheapest option to extend your connectivity may be a powerline adapter. One half of the kit plugs into the wall and your router, and the other unit provides you with a live ethernet port anywhere in your house. In between, all the 1’s and 0’s are being carried through your home’s electrical wiring, which is basically black magic. These are also incredibly useful for Blu-ray players and older electronics that don’t have Wi-Fi. [TRENDnet Powerline 500 AV Adapter Kit, $20]

If you’re pressed for kitchen space, Cuisinart’s popular Griddler is actually a griddle, a contact grill, and a panini press all rolled into one compact package. It normally sells for about $85-$100 new, but today on eBay, you can get a refurb for just $46. I bought one for $85 a few months ago, and I love the thing. [Refurb Cuisinart GR-4N 5-in-1 Griddler, $46]

Plus, you can pick up some waffle iron plates to give it even more versatility.

The specs on this Chromebook are virtually identical to every other cheap Chromebook on the market, except it has a 15” screen that’s great for watching movies, and it comes with a dozen GoGo In-Flight Wi-Fi passes. [Acer Chromebook 15, $220]

If you prefer a desktop, this Chrome OS all-in-one PC is down to $299 as well. [LG ChromeBase 22-Inch All-in-One Cloud Desktop, $299]

Google’s Chromecast has been kicking around for quite awhile, and if you still own any TVs without one attached, you can fix that for just $22 today. That’s $18 + $4 shipping, but if you find something else on Groupon Goods (say, a second Chromecast) to bring your order over $30, it’ll ship for free. When you add in the special offers available to Chromecast owners, including 90 days of free Google Play Music All Access, it’s a steal. [Refurb Google Chromecast, $18 + $4 shipping with code code HOT3]

We’ve all had to throw away leftovers or cuts of meat and cheese that spent a little too much time in the fridge or freezer, but vacuum sealing your foods can keep them safe from freezer burn pretty much indefinitely, and dramatically extend their shelf life everywhere else.

It sounds like an expensive proposition, but today only, Amazon’s selling the well-reviewed FoodSaver Starter Kit for just $64, complete with everything you need to get started. Of course you can use this to store meats in the freezer for a long time, but it can also keep cheese from molding, lettuce from wilting, or cookies from going stale, just to name a few examples. Think about how much food you throw away, and you’ll get a sense of just how quickly this purchase could pay for itself. We posted this a few weeks ago at $60, and it proved to be really popular, so here’s another chance if you missed out. [FoodSaver FM2000-000 Vacuum Sealing System, $64]

Hammock time? Hammock time. [Double Hammock With Space Saving Steel Stand, $80]
