The Velop is pretty much a bog standard mesh system: One router plugs into your modem, and the rest can basically go anywhere in your home to extend the network. But it has a stellar 4.5 star review average, $300 for two routers is very competitive, and it even supports Alexa commands.

If you still haven’t tried out a home theater bias light, there’s never been a better time to pick one up. Vansky’s LED bias light strips plug directly into your TV’s USB port for power, and stick to the back of the set via built-in adhesive. Once you turn your TV on, the LEDs cast a soft glow on the wall behind them, which can reduce eyestrain when watching in the dark, and improve your TV’s perceived black levels.

Our readers have bought thousands of the 35.4" models, but now, you can opt for 80" strips for just a few bucks more. Rather than just stretching them across the top of your TV set, these can wrap all the way around, resulting in a fuller halo of light on the wall behind. And if you missed it over the weekend, the Logitech Marathon Mouse is also marked down to $20. It doesn’t have as many features as the two mice shown above, but its battery can last up to three years at a time.

Range extenders aren’t a cure-all for your home network, but if you have one or two spots in the house that just doesn’t get good reception, they’re an inexpensive way to fill in the gaps. This model from TP-Link has great reviews, and at $35 (after clipping the $5 coupon), it’s never been cheaper.

Powerline kits and Wi-Fi range extenders are two of the most popular ways to fill in the gaps in your home network, and TRENDnet combined both products into one.

All you have to do is connect one of the included adapters to your router and plug it into the wall, then plug the other adapter into an AC outlet where your Wi-Fi coverage is lacking. That part of the kit includes two ethernet ports to connect wired devices, and it will also act as a tiny 802.11n router for everything else.

It probably won’t be as fast as a dedicated mesh networking system, and it obviously won’t be as reliable as running a new Cat5 line behind your drywall, but it’s cheap at $40, and only takes a few minutes to set up.

Whether you have a home improvement project on the horizon, or just need a Father’s Day gift idea, Amazon’s one-day DEWALT deal is pretty spectacular.

$153 gets you a 20V hammer drill/driver kit, plus a bonus 34-piece hand socket set. The drill/driver currently sells for $199 on its own, so this deal saves you $46, not including the free hand tools. Just remember that it’s only available today, and it could sell out early.

The official Linksys eBay store has had a ton of great deals on refurbished WeMo products lately, and today, it’s the Insight Switch’s turn.

The WeMo Insight works just like a regular smartphone/Alexa/IFTTT-controlled WeMo Switch, but adds energy monitoring to the mix so you can see how much your appliances cost to run. Previous refurb WeMo deals have sold out quickly, and we don’t think this will be an exception.

Anova dominates the sales charts, but in many ways (raw heating power, looks, size, software quality), the Joule sous-vide circulator is actually the superior product, and Amazon’s running a rare $30 discount on it, today and tomorrow only.

The Joule White is actually a new model of the Joule, swapping the original’s stainless steel top and base with white plastic to match the rest of the unit.
