Gizmodo EIC Annalee Newitz has waxed poetic about her Android-compatible flash drive, and now we’ve found a terrific deal today on the exact same model. So why would you want one of these things?

The awesome part is that it has a micro USB connector on one side, and USB 3.0 on the other. Perfect for moving all the pictures and vids from my phone to another machine. I always carry a spare flash drive with me, and this was a big upgrade — mostly because I’m sick of uploading files from my phone to Dropbox or Drive in order to get them onto my laptop. I want to save things locally, not pass them through somebody else’s server farm.

I’d also add that these are great for storing movies and other media for long trips, especially if your phone or tablet is running low on storage. But whatever your motivations, we don’t know how long this deal is set to last, so grab one while you can. There are also smaller capacities available at lower price points, but this is a match for the best deal we’ve ever seen on the 64GB model. [Corsair Flash Voyager Go 64GB, $27]

If you’re an iOS owner, you’re not out of luck, as SanDisk Connect 64GB flash drive is also marked down to an all-time low $50 today. It doesn’t have a microUSB or Lightning connector, but it can create its own ad-hoc Wi-Fi network. Just connect the device of your choice, and you can transfer files back and forth wirelessly. It’s like a tiny little NAS that fits in your pocket! [SanDisk Connect 64GB, $50]

Not only can you save $50 on a PS4 today, which is rare enough on its own, you’ll also get a free copy of Borderlands: The Handsome Collection. Not bad! [PS4 + Handsome Collection, $350]

A few weeks ago, we saw a $10 discount on the 38mm Apple Watch, and today, it’s the 42mm model’s turn.

Granted, $10 isn’t a huge discount, but it’s best we’ve seen to date on the Apple Watch. More importantly though, most buyers won’t have to pay sales tax, which sweetens the deal considerably compared to buying directly from Apple. [Apple Watch Sport 42mm, $390. No tax for most]

This 3.8 star-rated Linksys AC router isn’t going to be as fast as other, more expensive models, but if you’re on a budget, it’s a solid deal at $87 today, an all-time low. [Linksys AC1200+ Wi-Fi Wireless Dual-Band+ Router with Gigabit & USB Ports, Smart Wi-Fi App, $87]

Canon’s 5D Mark III has long been the go-to DSLR for videographers, and a solid workhorse for professional and prosumer photographers as well. And while $2,000 for the body alone is still a solid chunk of change, it is the best price we’ve ever seen, and $500 less than usual. [Canon EOS 5D Mark III, $2000]

The MacBook is too slow. The MacBook Air has a bad screen. The new 13” MacBook Pro though lacks any glaring weaknesses (and even has the new Force Touch Trackpad), and you can save $220 on the 256GB model today on eBay, with no sales tax for most buyers. I bought this exact model the day it was announced, and couldn’t be happier with it. If you have any questions about it, hit me up in the comments. [2015 Apple MacBook Pro 256GB, $1280]

All this 4.6 star-rated luggage scale has to do is save you from an overweight baggage fee once, and it will have paid for itself several times over. You might have a scale at home that works just fine, but this one is small enough to toss into your luggage and take with you, meaning you can make sure you don’t get dinged for all of those heavy souvenirs on your return trip. [DecoBros 110lb/50kg Electronic Digital Luggage Hanging Scale, $7]

This ultra-thin 8,000mAh battery comes with a “fancy customized fiber pouch,” and will only set you back $9 today. That price is only available for the white model, though black and pink are only $1 more, with no promo code required. [Aukey 8,000mAh Battery Pack, $9 with code NBNRLJG3]

Babysitting the grill or oven while dinner cooks is nobody’s idea of a good time, but this wireless temperature probe will alert you the moment your food has reached the desired temperature.

That means no more dried out, overcooked meat, and more importantly, no awkwardly taking back your guests’ plates to finish cooking that E. Coli-ridden pink chicken. This $60 set comes with two probes, a 300’ range, a backlit screen, and 15 pre-programmed settings for various meats. [Maverick ET-733 Long Range Wireless Dual Probe BBQ Smoker Meat Thermometer Set, $60 with code PP7RJEN8]

Bonus: You’ll also get a set of bear claw style forks for free, which are great for shredding meat.

Whether you’re counting calories, baking, measuring espresso shots, or even weighing small packages, a kitchen scale is a always a great tool to have on hand. This one has a stack of great reviews, a backlit display, and a $12 price tag today (with code DKSLM8FF), so there’s no need to weigh your options. [Etekcity 13lb/6kg Digital Multifunction Kitchen Scale, $12 with code DKSLM8FF]

I was a longtime user of the iOttie One Touch dash mount, which you voted as your favorite over on Kinja Co-Op, but I recently experimented with a magnetic alternative, and I have to say, I love the thing.

Unlike traditional suction cup-based mounts, this Mpow Grip ($6 today with code FPJGVCF7) won’t obscure your view of the road, and when your phone is mounted to it, it’s in fact completely invisible. A big worry about these things is that they’ll cover up a valuable vent during the hottest and coldest times of the year, but I’ve found that you can stick the mount on the very top of the vent, and the magnetic plate against the very bottom of you phone, and only block a small fraction of your airflow.

The big caveat is that you’ll probably only want to buy this if use a phone case, since your two mounting options are either placing a magnetic plate between the phone and the case, or attaching a non-removable magnetic sticker directly to the phone. As long as that’s not an issue though, this is certainly worth a try at $6. [Mpow Grip Smartphone Car Mount, $6 with code FPJGVCF7]

This dual-port USB charger is perfect for travel, and if you buy it today, you can add a Lightning cable for just $1 more.

If you need an excuse to build out your Blu-ray or DVD collection, Best Buy’s offering a 3-for-$20 deal on nearly 40 select titles. My picks: Whiplash, Captain Philips, and District 9. [Choose three select Blu-rays and DVDs for $20]

Are you sitting down?

There’s a new Xbox One bundle deal out today. I know, I was shocked too.

Seriously though, this is pretty good. Extra controllers are great toss-in items, since unlike games, their prices don’t really go down over time. Plus, Black Flag is the only Assassin’s Creed game worth playing on the current generation of consoles. [Xbox One Halo: MCC Bundle + Black Flag + Second Controller, $349]

If you like board games like Settlers of Catan and Agricola, you’ll definitely want to give Carcassonne a try. Today’s price is the lowest Amazon has ever listed, and a great investment for your next game night. [Carcassonne: New Edition, $22]

If your computer’s running low on storage, or if you just need a good backup drive, $70 is about as cheap as we ever see a 2TB external. [WD Elements 2TB External Drive, $70]

69 gets you a bracelet made a over 18’ of 550 pound paracord, and a buckle that also double as a flint fire starter and eye knife, Hopefully you never have to use this, but it’s not a bad idea to keep it handy before you head out into the wild. [Gonex Paracord Bracelet with Fire Starter and Eye Knife, $6]

GoPro’s official eBay store is currently blowing out refurbs of last generation’s GoPro Hero3+ Silver for just $180. As long as you don’t mind that it’s “old,” that’s a really fantastic action cam for the price.

Let’s compare specs to the $130 GoPro Hero (Hero3+ Silver bolded).

  • Up to 1080p/60 or 720p/120 video vs. 1080p/30 and 720p/60
  • 10 MP stills vs. 5 MP
  • 25 MB/s bitrate vs. 15 MB/s
  • Wi-Fi vs. No Wi-Fi

So if GoPro’s cheapest action cam appeals to you, $50 extra today gets you a much better overall package. [Refurb GoPro Hero3+ Silver, $180]

Just because your house or apartment doesn’t have a doorbell doesn’t mean you’ll have to rely on knocking on the door like a caveman. [Etekcity Wireless Doorbell Kit with 1000ft Operating Range, $15]
