Amazon’s Father’s Day device deals just went live, including $20 discounts on the Kindle, Kindle Paperwhite, and Kindle Voyage, extra savings on various Kindle bundles, and less common deals on Amazon’s Echo line of smart speakers. Alexa does know some great dad jokes, so that part makes sense.

In celebration of pool season, Amazon’s offering all-time low prices on Sony’s new line of Bluetooth speakers, each of which includes IPX5 water resistance, great battery life, and the ability to connect multiple speakers together for room-filling sound. To help you understand the differences though, we’ve broken them all down below.

Sony XB10

The XB10 is basically a standard single-driver Bluetooth speaker, but with a few additional features like NFC pairing, the ability to connect two together for stereo sound, and a 16 hour battery. $48 is an all-time low, and roughly $10 less than usual.

Sony XB20

For $20 more, you get dual drivers (at the cost of battery life, which clocks in at 12 hours here), a single-color lightstrip that accents the speaker, and the ability to connect up to 10 (!!) speakers at once. It typically retails for around $100.

Sony XB30

The XB30 doubles your battery life to 24 hours, and upgrades the light strip to include multiple colors and a strobe feature, all controlled via an app. It usually sells for about $50 more.

Sony XB40

And finally, the XB40 adds additional lighting around the speaker cones, but otherwise seems to be exactly like the XB30. $148 is, amazingly, a ~$100 discount.

If you demand a lot out of your Bluetooth speakers, this discounted Aukey SoundTank might be just what you’re looking for.

If you want a Big Green Egg charcoal grill, but don’t want to cash in your 401(k) to buy one, this Char-Griller alternative is down to $270 on Amazon today. That’s the lowest price in months, and a great investment for meat lovers everywhere.

The Char-Griller Akorn Kamado Kooker features a 306 square inch cast iron cooking surface (which is most similar to the $829 large Big Green Egg), and traps heat inside a heavily-insulated stainless steel body. Our deal researcher, Corey, owns a BGE, and I asked him about it on Slack:

Cotton is one of the softest things you can sleep on, but it comes at a price. Amazon is thankfully helping you out there with their sale on 100% cotton, 1000 thread count sheets from EL&ES Bedding Collections. Grab a queen set for $71 or a king (and California king) for $79, with your choice from seven different colors. While you’re gonna want to sleep on these sheets, don’t sleep on this deal because it ends today.

Anova dominates the sales charts, but in many ways (raw heating power, looks, size, software quality), the Joule sous-vide circulator is actually the superior product, and Amazon’s running a rare $20 discount on it, for a limited time.

Promo code SOUSVIDETIME will take $20 off the original Joule White/Stainless Steel and the new Joule White. The White model is $20 cheaper to begin with, the only difference being the absence of steel accents; performance should be identical.

If you don’t have any idea what the hell I’m talking about or why you might want to buy this, Lifehacker has a great sous-vide explainer here. Spoiler alert: It’s incredibly simple, and the results are fantastic.

You can’t control these power outlet switches with your smartphone, or tie them to IFTTT recipes like the Belkin WeMo line, but they sell for a tiny fraction of the cost of their smarter brethren, and can be controlled from across the room via the included remote. It’s only a half-measure towards creating a smart home, to be sure, but they might be worth a look at the price.

Char-Broil’s Grill2Go is exactly what it sounds like; a grill that you can take to picnics, camping trips, tailgates, or anywhere else. Just hook up a portable propane tank, and the infrared heating elements will lock in your food’s moisture while preventing any flare-ups.

These measuring spoons are color-coded to help you find the right one more easily, but more importantly, they snap together so they won’t fly apart in your drawers. Amazon has them listed as a $5 add-on item right now, but as of this writing, there’s a third party seller offering them for the same price with free (non-Prime) shipping as well.

Everyone should keep an inverter in their glove box for powering laptops and other electronics in the car, and you can choose from two different deals from Aukey today for $19 or less. The more expensive model puts out 300W, while the 150W version is designed to fit in your cupholder, which is cool I guess?

While they don’t have the brand recognition of Nest’s learning Thermostat, Ecobee’s smart thermostats one-up their popular competitor by pairing with wireless remote sensors that you can place elsewhere in your house, giving them a more accurate picture of your home’s overall temperature. Plus, they work with Siri and Alexa, and the new Ecobee4 actually has Alexa built-in, meaning it’s basically an extra Echo Dot on your wall.

I freely admit that not everybody needs a miter saw. In fact, most people probably shouldn’t own one. If you’re ready to take the plunge into LED lighting, this 6-pack of bulbs from TCP is down to just $10 on Amazon right now in both daylight and soft white temperatures. They aren’t dimmable, so you won’t want to put them in certain fixtures, but they’re great bulk packs for the price.

Once you’ve got them, check to see if your local utility company offers rebates for purchasing LEDs. If so, it’s possible these could pay for themselves even quicker than they would otherwise.

Individual Philips Hue light bulbs have been frustratingly resistant to discounts over the years, so if you have a chance to save 10% on the latest model, you should probably swallow your pride and pull the trigger.
