Just in time for Black Friday (and ostensibly to commemorate the premiere of The Grand Tour), Amazon’s discounting 1-year Prime memberships to $79 today, for new members only.

In the past, there have been loopholes for existing members to take advantage of these sporadic Prime discounts, but unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case this time around. That said, if you still haven’t yet joined Prime, this is a fantastic opportunity.

And so it begins. Besides the markdown of Amazon Prime (which if you haven’t taken advantage of, what are you even doing?), Amazon is rolling out a bunch of great deals today. The site is taking 20% off on “select clothes, shoes, jewelry, watches, and more.” And by “select,” they mean basically everything. Discount is applied at checkout, so make sure you’re paying attention.

Imagine buying a coat or a new pair of boots, and having them show up on Monday, rather than two weeks from now. Buying from Amazon Fashion allows that, since Prime is available on most items.

Overwatch is arguably 2016's only good thing must-play game, and while it’s had a few small discounts around the margins, today’s the first time it’s ever gotten a significant price drop.

While supplies last, $35 will get you a copy on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. That’s the same price we’ve seen in Black Friday ads, so there’s no point waiting for next week.

Disney is apparently a consumer electronics company now, and their Circle seems like a must-buy piece of gear for every parent this holiday season.

Circle syncs with your home Wi-Fi, and lets you set content filters, app-by-app time limits, and a whole lot more on any iOS or Android device. I honestly have no clue how this works, but reviews are solid, and today’s $85 price is $15 less than usual.

The new MacBook Pro (sans-Touch Bar) is the pricey-but-great Macbook Air apparent (see what I did there?), but today on Amazon, it’s slightly less expensive than usual. By $100, to be exact. Not bad for a brand new Apple product.

Update: The same discount is available on the 12" MacBook as well, in both standard configurations.

It doesn’t include HDR or a tablet remote like the Vizio M-series, but if size if your biggest consideration when shopping for a TV, this Google Cast-enabled 70" Vizio E-Series 4K TV is a steal at $1000 $930.

That’s the same price we expect to see on Black Friday, the best price we’ve seen on this set by $100 $170, and this is the most affordable 70" TV we’ve come across in our Deals Week prep. It does come with the caveat that you’re legally required to host a Super Bowl party though.

If you have an Alexa-enabled Echo, Echo Dot, Fire Tablet, or Fire TV lying around, Amazon’s offering some pretty massive discounts just for you, if you purchase with your voice.

Highlights include an RTIC 30 ounce tumbler for $7 (which I just bought), an Amazon Tap for $80, and a BB-8 Sphero toy for $98. Plus, orders over $10 qualify for a bonus $5 Amazon gift card, if the discounts were enticing enough on their own. Is it the easiest way to shop? Probably not. But if you see a product here that you like, you’d be hard pressed to find better discounts.

Need an Alexa-enabled gadget to get started? It’s tough to beat a certified refurbished Echo for $120.

Whether you’re enticed by the idea of a Bluetooth-connected toothbrush, or just want it to get off your lawn, $70 is a great deal for an Oral-B toothbrush with a pressure sensor, five modes, and compatibility with several different brush heads.

If you want to pair it with your phone to track your brushing habits and learn which parts of your mouth aren’t getting enough attention, great! If not, it’s still worth buying at this price, which is a new all-time low. Just be sure to clip the $15 coupon.

Take your mind off the status of the world around you and go climb a mountain. And if you need to replace your hiking shoes, or just need an excuse to get another pair, Amazon’s one-day, up to 40% off sale on select hiking shoes is your excuse. Boots and shoes from Salamon, Merrell, and SCARPA are all included in the sale, but this deal only lasts until the wolf howls at midnight.

While integrated sound bars are increasingly popular options for home theater audio, if you like to kick it old school with a receiver and satellite speakers, Amazon’s top-selling receiver is down to an all-time low $198 today, or about $150 less than usual.

The Sony STRDH770 includes four HDMI inputs (all of which support 4K at 60FPS), Bluetooth streaming, and 7.2 channels of audio output. That’s a lot of bang for your buck.

The GoPro HERO5 looks like all that and a bag of chips, but if $400 is more than you can stomach for an action cam, the Hero4 Silver is a fantastic alternative for $280 refurbished.

While it can’t shoot 4K at 30fps, the Silver does include a built-in touchscreen like the new HERO5, and its 1080p footage remains stunning. Today’s deal is the best price we’ve ever seen on a non-refurb, so pick it up and then go put on a wing suit or something.

While it doesn’t have the brand recognition of Nest’s learning Thermostat, the Ecobee3 Smart Thermostat one-ups its most popular competitor by including a wireless remote sensor that you can place elsewhere in your house, giving the thermostat a more accurate picture of your home’s overall temperature. Plus, it’ll work with Siri via HomeKit, and your Amazon Echo too.

I have great news. You can buy hoverboards now without worrying about them blowing up under your feet!

This model from EPIKGO is marked down to an all-time low $500 today on Amazon, and includes a 1-hour battery (at its max 10 mph), IP65 dust and water resistance, the ability to climb 18 degree slopes, and even headlights. This deal is only available today though, so float on over to Amazon to snag one.

Are you serious, Clark? One of the greatest Christmas movies of all time is down to an all-time low $7 on Blu-ray right now, just in time for your post-turkey movie nap.

Whether you’re actually using them for gaming, or just to be more productive, these well-reviewed gaming mice are both marked down to all-time low prices on Amazon today.

The $35 SteelSeries Rival 300 looks like any other conventional mouse at first blush, but includes six programmable buttons, adjustable DPI up to 6,500, and 16.8 million color RGB backlighting.

Meanwhile, the $45 Corsair M65 features a more in-your-face aluminum design, adjustable weights, and a sensor that you can crank all the way up to 12,000 DPI.

Monoprice sells everything from charging cables to speaker systems to 3D printers, and you can save 15% on (nearly) all of it today during the site’s early Black Friday sale. It’s 2016, and your headphones don’t need wires anymore. Luckily, Amazon’s offering up Sony’s popular and well-reviewed MDRXB950BT Bluetooth over-ears for $88 today. Not only is that an all-time low and roughly $60-$110 off its usual price, it’s actually $2 better than Best Buy’s promised Black Friday deal, so there’s no reason to wait.

iClever’s BoostCube line is The Wirecutter’s pick for best travel-friendly USB charger, and for a limited time, you can get two for the price of one. That’s one for you, and one for a lucky friend’s stocking. Just add two of the white models to your cart, and use code BESTDISC at checkout to get one for free.

A pair (or two) of well-reviewed Bose headphones won’t break the bank today. In fact, $99 is a match for Prime Day, and within $10 of an all-time low. Just note that the remote on the discounted set will only work on iOS devices, but the audio will obviously work on anything with a headphone jack.

Best Buy’s Black Friday ad promised this Samsung sound bar for an all-time low $148, but there’s no need to wait; Amazon kicked the deal off early. This 35" sound bar includes 300W of total output, Bluetooth for connecting your phone, and even a wireless subwoofer for extra bass. If you’re still listening to your TV through its built-in speakers, needless to say, this would be a massive upgrade.

The holidays are coming, and for many of us, that means cramming ourselves into airplane seats to get into wine-drunk political fights with our relatives. But at least you can make your experience in coach just a little more comfortable with a memory foam travel pillow, just $15 today on Amazon. Needless to say, you’d pay a bit more than that at the Hudson News outside your gate.

Nose hair is a problem a lot of people have but, for some reason, few people take care of. For a limited time, score this Panasonic nose hair trimmer for just $10, and you can be one of those people doing something about it. Harambe didn’t die so you could look like The Missing Link.

The loss of headphone jack on the iPhone 7 has been felt most acutely by owners of older cars, who until now could use the port to listen to audio in the car while still charging their phones. This $9 Bluetooth/FM transmitter will be a cold comfort to those people, I’m sure, but it’s certainly better than nothing.

If you missed out on on last month’s wiper blade sale, Amazon will sell you two Michelin Stealth blades today for $20. Just add any two to your cart (shipped and sold by Amazon.com), and the price will automatically be reduced to $20 at checkout. The deal even works if you buy two different sized blades, so you should have no trouble finding a combination that fits your car.

Finding Dory was better than it had any right to be, and even though it only came out on video yesterday, Prime members can already get the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital combo for $15. If you have any young fans of the film on your holiday shopping list, this is a great chance to cross them off.

If only the best will do, you can save $30 on a bare PS4 Pro console today, with no sales tax for most buyers.

We suspect we’ll see a few PS4 Pro bundle deals around Black Friday, including one that includes Street Fighter and Watch Dogs 2 for $400, but if a cash discount takes precedent over bonus games for you, there’s no reason to wait.

If you’ve tried an unamplified HDTV antenna (like the standard Mohu Leaf), but can’t quite pull in every channel you want, this leaf-style model includes a USB-powered amp that should add a few miles of range. Promo code TVANBB15 brings it down to just $15, which is one of the best prices we’ve ever seen on an amplified antenna.

The transition from USB-A to USB-C is going to be slow and painful, but at least it doesn’t have to be expensive. Two A-to-C cables for $7 is one of the best prices we’ve seen, especially considering they’re both 6' long.

Gerber’s 4.5 star-rated paraframe knife features a minimalist handle that keeps weight to a minimum, and a deal that keeps is price to a minimum. The only catch is that it’s an add-on item, but these would make great stocking stuffers, so you can hit the $25 order minimum by buying a bunch of them.

Life’s too short to vacuum every other day, but luckily, you can pawn that tedious chore off to a Roomba, and the entry level 650 model is marked down to $274 today on Amazon, which is $16 less than its previous lowest price.

While it does require a bit of babysitting from time to time, I haven’t vacuumed my house manually in months, and yet the floors always feel clean, even with two pets.
